         <description><![CDATA[<div>21/01/19<br><strong>Anatomical annotation:</strong><br>Lateral T's need to have a wide second position and the hip pushed as far out as possible to open space up for the lateral lean over.  <br>My flat back needs to maintain the hands, shoulders and hips all in line and my weight needs to be on my toes so that my legs do not sway back. You can see on the image that I have a slight curve in my spine which is due to not pulling in my core therefore my alignment is incorrect. <br>For my lateral T en l'air, my foot needs to be directly parallel to the side wall, my hips need to stack up straight above my ankles, arms directly next to my ears and constantly reaching outwards to hold the balance. </div>]]></description>

Before Shockout, I thought fourth position of the legs was narrow, but after attending Eric's lessons I learnt that jazz fourth is supposed to be low to the ground and the legs in a box shape to make the pirouette easier to achieve. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>10/10/18<br><strong>Anatomical annotation:</strong><br>In this source, I am showing the correct technique and alignment for a jazz high pirouette. My arms are parallel to the floor in align with my shoulders, my feet also parallel. The plie in fourth is low to the floor so that the pirouette can snatch onto releve, opposite leg in high retire, arms in a jazz first not too close to the body but not as far as a ballet first. This will help me to pirouette successfully, on top of my leg. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To help with holding the leg in second en l'air, Anton gave us this strengthening exercise for the adductors, which can be seen in the image below. To do this correctly, the leg has to be turned out to the maximum ability, then lifted up using the adductor muscles and controlled back down. I feel that this exercise has improved my strength and ability to hold my leg higher in second en l'air. I aim to continue this exercise to keep progressing and aiming for my leg to reach even higher. </div>]]></description>
