When I read into the intentions however, it really allowed me to understand why it looks so bleak. The crushing amount of pressure that comes with the transition to adulthood is something that one cannot quite fathom. Living so much of your life as a kid and all you know is being a kid and once that is gone, to quote you, "is there enough time for the right path?" Being able to convey so many emotions into one painting is an incredible feat.
