She probably also just feels lonely. I think she's not that jealous because she knows that Auggie really needs people to support him because he's different, unlike Via, who's pretty much normal like everyone else (despite the fact she has a deformed brother).
I also think that Via might be slightly as well, because her parents don't really have time to listen to her and her problems.
