His father, Jirou Kitamura, is a director of a well-known company while his mother, Sana Kitamura, is an ex-singer. Kazuki has different nationality due to the fact that he was born in New York City, America, on November 3rd 1998. The 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution provides that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." This made him an American.

    Kazuki began to learn arts when he was five. He was first introduced to music when he watch the live performance of her mother in Tokyo Dome and immediately fell in love with music since then. He joined the music club in his school and soon became the top student because of his performance. This continued until his high school.

    He started his debut as a YouTube Singer (Youtaite) with the name Akira. He left his identity unknown as he continued to sing, gaining a lot of positive response from the media due to his ability to hit high notes without sounding strained. Kazuki sure saw the chance, yet he decided to keep everything as secret until he graduated high school. To keep everything under cover, he tend to act not serious around his friends, feigning to be so off-tune by mere coincidence.

    Kazuki had no idea about how his monotonous life will change when he met Wakane Karasho, a American-born Japanese person who was forced to teach a group of teenagers to sing including Kazuki. As always, he never been serious during the session, resulting for him and Wakane to be involved in a lot of fights. Unbeknownst by the adult whom idolizes his other identity, Kazuki Kitamura is the real identity of Akira.
