Today I have learnt how to use padlet to create visual mind maps that show how a DSLR camera is used and different types of camera shots. This is one of my mind maps. I found using pallet very easy

Today we continued with our padlet mood boards. We then started to creat mind maps to plan out our ideas here is how mine looks so far. I didn't have any trouble starting this mind map as i have been planning what will go into this project since i received the assignment brief.

Today I finished my mind map and then while we were finishing the mind maps we were taken out in groups to do work shops on setting up a camera and using Adobe premier pro to edit videos. In the camera workshop we were timed to see how well we work as a team to set up a camera. In the editing workshop we were with someone who was demonstrating the features of premier pro. I learnt a lot about the features of premier pro and how they are used

As you can see in the previous post i have finished my mind map. This task has helped me use my ideas in a creative way to help understand and display my ideas. The workshops with editing and cameras have helped me understand how i will be doing certain tasks in my project

Today was the pre production stage of making our video tutorial. We have completed documents such as the contingency plan, the equipment booking log, location visit sheet, production schedule and the unit 1 proposal. I have completed the majority of these documents and made a start on the unit 1 proposal I am still working on these documents and I am trying to get them all done by the next lesson

Today we were clearing up the work we had to put on blend space due to some technical issues with iPads. We then went off to do a workshop about using the to studio to make a chat show. We learnt that the green screen is green because green is the opposite colour of skins hitch helps the computer replace the green with a separate image. The workshop was a very good insite to how a tv studio works and how different pieces of equipment work.

This is where the video is recorded and managed from it is also where the animations are put in. There is a monitor showing the footage from each of the three cameras and another monitor so throw the final footage being broadcasted.

Although I have used premier pro before this presentation was still very useful as the demonstration was very clear and informative. The presentation included the basics of using premier pro and it was very good as it refreshed my memory because I have not used premier pro in a long time and I have been using other editing software.

Today I started filming my types of shots video and I was using the TV studio to get the mid shot close up and extreme close up because we did not have enough space to film a long shot and we could not film a shot reverse shot due to thelack of camera mobility. This lead to me not having the right amount of shots after a day of filming I was also a model as part of other people's videos. The lack of shots lead me to have to film my shots at home.

Today we were screening all of our work and we were also finishing filming our videos. I spent more time in the TV studio today as a model for other videos because I had edited my video. After screening my video I found out than I needed to re-film all of my shots but my editing was really good. I decided to re-film my shots when I was in class after the screening and when I was filming the shots people in the shots were laughing and at first I saw this as a bad thing but after thinking about the music I am using I wanted people to look more casual and if they were laughing it was ok because it makes it look like the models were actually talking because they would not be laughing at the camera they would be laughing with the other person in the shot
