         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><ol><li>Connect the photo gates to the LabQuest in a chain.</li><li>Place the two meter sticks next to each other with one centimeter gap.&nbsp;</li><li>Slide the ruler under the meter sticks at the 50 cm mark</li><li>Take one long piece of tape and tape the meter sticks to the ruler</li><li>Place one end of the meter stick ramp on a text book to create a ramp. Measure the height of the book and record on the data table.</li><li>Use tape loops on the legs of the photo gates to place one on the ruler at the 50 cm mark, on the stack of books, and the table at the end of the ramp.</li><li>Measure the distance between the center of the photo gates and record the distance on data table 1.</li><li>Press play on the LabQuest and release the marble at the top of the ramp.</li><li>Record the blocked times of each of the photo gates from the LabQuest to data table 2.</li><li>Add a text book to the stack of books to add height. Measure the new height and record the height.</li><li>Repeat the experiment for 3 trials.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
