The lesson aligns with my Performance Expectations per NGSS
I used this activity as practice to make sure students understood base pairs. Feedback was left for incorrect base pair matches. This was a lab designed by explore learning, it aligns with the NGSS standards.
This has specific instructions so it can be done without guidance from teacher.
There is an interactive piece to the lab where the students build a molecule. There are questions that probe their understanding of structure and function.
This can be used specifically with LS classes. The working of Gizmo can be used with any science class. This can be used with a learner, but audio is not provided for this activity.
