The densest substance is the honey. then on top of the honey is cranberry juice. then on top of that is dish soap. lastly the least densest substance is the oil. this was surprising because i thought the oil would be after the honey. i dropped a penny and it sank all the way to the bottom.

The Liquids I used in the density column were Dish Soap, Olive Oil and Water. All in the order in which they were placed. But, for some reason as I thought Oil was more dense than water, oil rose to the top.

The Objects I dropped in the Cup and where they floated and sunk are listed below:

Coin: This abruptly went down through all three layers and could even be slightly heard when it hit the bottom.

Glass Marble: This still went down quite hard, like the coin but didn't make a sound when it hit the bottom. Kind of weird.

Ping-Pong Ball: Because it's already made of plastic and hollow, allowing less-dense gas to enter it floated atop all three layers very well, only about a eighth of it was submerged.

Pen Cap: This one was intresting as it went through the oil but floated on top of the water layer completely, so it's too dense for oil but too light for water at all, as not even a recordable bit of it went through it.

Plastic Toy: To get more specific it's a trash pack, but it sank through everything but the Dish Soap, which most of it was submerged in so it's too dense for oil and water but not Soap apparently.

This is what I noticed from the experiment.
