1. i think that opal wants to take this dog home because they were going to send the dog to the pound. Also the dog was ugly but cute at the same time he was also excited to see opal.
2. Opal feels that the dog is just happy and excited . She feels safe withe the dog because the dog was smiling.
3. The manger will say get the ugly dog out of the store and call the pound and the manager will get mad at the dog.

1. I think that Opal wants the dog because it smiled at opal and showed all his teeth and the dog was ugly but cut at the same time. The dog was wagging it's tail. 2. Opal feels happy at the dog cause it smiled at her she wanted to keep the dog but the dog mad a mess in the store the food was everywhere in the store and the manger was mad the dog the dog was still running every where in the store. 3. 1. Opal wants to take this dog home because the manager said to call the pound. The evidence is that in the story it says "Somebody call the pound." when Opal says " That's my dog. Don't call the pound.". Another reason is that she says "Then the dog came running around the corner. He was a big dog. And ugly. And he looked he was having a real good time." This shows that Opal cares for the dog.
2. The way Opal feels about the dog is she loves him. In the story it says that "He skidded to a stop and smiled at me." then Opal says "Then he wagged his tail so hard" and the final piece of evidence is that she says "Here, boy,". This shows that she cares for him and loves the dog.
3.If the manager was telling the story it would be different in the fact that the manager would talk bad about the dog. In the story it says "Somebody call the pound." and another piece of evidence is that the manager says "Somebody grab that dog!". This shows that the dog the manager would not talk very nice about the dog if he told the story.
