         <description><![CDATA[<div>I know that I, and several others, leave 0's in at progress reports. I do that so they see the impact of their missing work, and then after posting pad their grade with 50's/excuse what I can/reflect on what assignments maybe weren't effective and that I change to a zero weight. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I wonder what expectations are being placed on students that are not realistic for students during these circumstances. <br>I also wonder if an abundance of high expectations is leaving students overwhelmed and unmotivated to attend a zoom where they may already be defeated for not accomplishing said tasks. </div>]]></description>

If you have assessed the same TEK more than once and students complete one assignment but not the other, consider changing that 0 to the same grade they made on the other assignment or excusing it altogether. If we are shifting toward grading mastery then grades are about quality not quantity. </div>]]></description>
