         <description><![CDATA[<div>위에서 보면 바람개비처럼 생김<br>It looks like a pinwheel from above.<br>The <strong>Four Winds hat</strong> (in <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Sami">Northern Sami</a> <em>čiehgahpir</em>) is one version of traditional man's <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat">hat</a> of the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sami_people">Sami</a>. The basis is a simple blue cylinder, decorated with a band with braid patterns, but the top is a large, four-cornered star, colored bright blue with parts bright red and yellow. The decoration in an actual Sami hat is, like the rest of the Sami garb, indicative of the person's place of origin or even his clan or marital status,<a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Winds_hat#cite_note-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a> much like the Scottish <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartan">tartan</a>.<br>포윈스햇()은 사미족의 전통 모자이다. 기본은 단순한 청색 원기둥으로 땋은 무늬가 있는 띠로 장식되어 있지만, 윗부분은 밝은 청색에 밝은 적색과 황색을 띠는 네모난 큰 별이다. 실제 사미 모자의 장식은 다른 사미 가브와 마찬가지로 그 사람의 출신지, 심지어 그의 씨족 또는 혼인 상태를 나타내며, 스코틀랜드의 타탄과 매우 유사하다.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What we wear makes a difference.&nbsp; Clothing can speak for us, a voice that expresses how we want to present ourselves to the world.&nbsp; A language of its own, clothing tells the story of who you are and the people you may come from or want to be associated with.&nbsp; Historically, the clothes you wore might have been practical for your environment, but often, your clothes also showed that you belonged to a community.&nbsp; As we reach back into our Anthropology collections at the Natural History Museum, we take a long look at articles of clothing in the collection brought to us from across the world.&nbsp; In their travels, some of these pieces have also become a symbol of the people to which they belong.<br><br>We can learn a lot from symbols.&nbsp; In an abstract form, they tell us what is important to a person or a group of people.&nbsp; They can take on numerous forms, shapeshifting to tell us stories so they won’t be forgotten.&nbsp; But symbols take shape and evolve over time, creating new interpretations along the way.&nbsp; If a symbol becomes misinterpreted by others, it is important to reflect and ask, what history are we missing? If the temperatures grew colder, the men wore a cape on this attire. This cape was called the ‘sarape’, and reached the knees a minimum. The only colorful part of menswear in Mexico was this sarape.
