         <description><![CDATA[<div>Uganda consists of 40 different languages spoken in different areas. Some of the most dominant languages include  N'Karamojong, Ateso, Luganda, Luo, but English is the official language for the government, education, and commerce. One is often considered educated and looked highly upon if they can speak english. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the most common religion is christianity, but Catholics and Protestants make up the largest denominations. also, about 14 percent of Uganda's population is Muslim. Many Ugandans have many indigenous beliefs; they practice many rituals for ancestors and strongly believe in spirits, demons, and God. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Clothing in uganda is often sold in markets from North America and Europe. For women, revealing clothing such as miniskirts are highly dishonorable. Most women in Uganda are valued for their beauty, often light skinned. Women have tended to bleach their skin to fit this standard. <br>Uganda's traditional dress attire for women is a dress called a "gomsi" consisting of many layers and may colors and patterns.For men, traditional outfits consist of the white Kanzu, a loose ankle length garment, and a suit jacket. <br>many womens wear head wraps as well, and often wear robes tied around a shoulder with jewelry. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ugandans greet, eat and pass items using the right hand; rarely the left. People use both hands to receive an item to show their appreciation. Ugandans point with both their hands and lips. <br>As a sign of respect to elders, it is common to see a uganda sit with one leg crossed over the other in the presence of elders. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the most popular foods are matooke steamed in banana leaves (mashed plantains),  kwon kaal, (millet bread) and pasho, (maize paste) <br><strong>Dating and Marriage</strong>: Most Ugandans start dating around the age of 13, but are not encouraged to until they are at the legal age of 18. after 6 months of dating, the families expect engagement. Ugandans share a tradition in engagement and its the price the grooms family will have to pay for the bride. In different tribes there are traditions of writing letters to the parents, introduction ceremonies with all of the family, bride picks a man to throw a heavy club near the groom's family cattle. The distance the club travels along the herd is how many cattle will be included in the Price of the bride.<br><strong>Housing:</strong> the majority of homes in Uganda are rural communities made of mud and thatched roofs. Dirt floors are covered with a mixture of cow dung and soil, creating a hard surface. </div>]]></description>
