The contemporary world suffers from a myriad of problems, which concern not only people but also animals. Human activity obtained a harmful character, which continues to destroy the habitats of thousands of species. Pollution is one of the most dangerous consequences of human activity, which currently threatens the natural balance. Air pollution and water pollution became common for the routine activity of every human being. However, the rapid development of the industrial age made it challenging for the nature to survive under the influence of people. Extreme carbon dioxide emissions lead to global warming, which is a part of climate change all over the world. Nevertheless, it is necessary to consider the negative consequences of the abusive human activity in the perspective of the biodiversity. The following discussion carried out by https://bestwritingservice.com/ reveals the truth about endangered species and the current situation in the world of flora and fauna, which is caused by careless human activity.

Water Pollution

One of the key elements in the productivity of the humanity, which has been considered many years ago, became the global dump of waste. Oceans were deemed to be an endless reservoir for wastage of human activity. In fact, the current situation proves that the surrounding environment suffers from an excessive pollution of rivers, seas, and oceans. Pollution means the introduction of abnormal and harmful contaminants, which lead to the imbalance of the ecosystem. It is interesting to know that even farming contributes to water pollution, which is caused by fertilizing soil with harmful pesticides and chemicals. Herbicides also play a significant role in polluting the flora and fauna of the oceans. In addition, the most common reasons of water pollution come from plants and factories, which pollute oceans with plastics and oil. The natural balance of the marine world loses its sustainability due to the excessive penetration of water with chemicals and solid objects, which cannot be consumed or recycled. As a result, mammals, birds, and plants fall under the negative effect of human activity. Abusive behavior of people leads to the penetration of oceans with abnormal solid objects and chemical elements leading to the poisoning of animals, which mistake wastage for food. It is common to see marine mammals and birds got trapped in the wastage, which leads to death because of inability to get free. Leatherback sea turtles, clownfish, dolphins, emperor penguins, beluga whale, and salmon are among the representatives of the endangered species suffering from water pollution and climate change. Blue whales also represent one of the most vivid species of the marine fauna, which can be seldom met. The species named above and other animals require additional protection and alteration in human behavior in order to support a natural development of the world. In complex, both water pollution and climate change pose a significant threat to the millions of other animals, which struggle to survive in the severe conditions created by people. Oceans represent the biggest portion of Earth, which means that they are the core of the world’s natural balance. Human disrespectful activity should find its logical resolution in order to save lives of millions of living organisms.

Air Pollution

Plants, animals, and the whole ecosystem suffer from air pollution. Excessive air contamination with carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions leads to the lack of oxygen, which is the core of healthy productivity for every living organism. Air pollution has both direct and indirect influence on plants and animals. Some chemical emissions may affect food and habitat of animal, which further get intoxicated and die because of inability to handle the impact of chemicals. Acid rain, for example, comes in the atmosphere from the acidic emissions. As a result, plants and soil consume acid and can hardly survive. Air pollution also destroys the habitat of millions of animals by means of thin ozone layer. An excessive amount of carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions created holes in the ozone layer, which is a natural shield of Earth. As a result, sunrays are not filtered by the ozone layer, due to which the direct sunlight leads to cancer and destroys wildlife. However, air pollution is a part of the bigger problem, which continues to increase its negative influence on the natural habitat of thousands of species.

Climate Change

Global warming is a result of the named above pollutions that destroy the natural functioning of all ecosystems and environments. The most recent and visible changes take place near the poles, where ice melts because of rising temperatures. In this way, heat destroys the habitat of many mammals living there. Polar bears may become extinct due to the rapid decrease in the population. Ice platforms start moving because of melting, which means that swimming becomes more dangerous with every movement. In this way, air pollution became the trigger of global warming, which continues to decrease the populations of polar bears and emperor penguins.

Further, it is possible to mention another consequence of global warming, which has an influence on rainforests in Central America. These forests represent the habitat for the majority of the amphibian species. Tropical frogs are becoming endangered due to the climatic changes and lack of rains in the area of rainforests. Extremely high temperatures reduce the humidity, which is essential for the majority of amphibians.

Another endangered species is orangutan, which currently lives in the area with high temperatures. In this way, various bacteria and diseases evolve and may influence the population of the endangered species. Global warming also leads to the challenging process of getting food and water, which is also another reason of extinction. In complex, the problem of global warming and climatic change is a result of the named above pollutions, which continue to have a negative influence on the surrounding world. It became obvious that climatic alterations involve all areas of the fragile planet, which continues to suffer from the destructive force of human performance. The discussed above species are only representatives of the long list of species suffering from pollution and climatic changes.

In conclusion, it is important to mention that the world continues to suffer from various types of pollution and climatic change. The majority of species become extinct annually, which is a serious problem of the humanity. Nevertheless, the issue is a consequence of the abusive human activity. Carbon dioxide emissions, tons of wastes in the oceans, pesticides and herbicides create tension on the natural resources that can hardly handle the influence of abnormal objects. In this way, the questions of changes in human activity become topical in the light of protection of polar bears, whales, turtles, orangutans, and other species. Otherwise, the majority of species will become extinct because of careless and selfish human activity, which does not know either mercy, or limits.
