A favourite tool: Padlet

What gives Padlet more credits over other tech tools is that it can be adapted to many activities or tasks. It can be used for presenting new vocabulary or a topic and students can illustrate their understanding by giving more examples on a specific word or generating more ideas. Students can also use Padlet in problem solving in that a teacher can keep track of the whole process to maintain what is suitable for the task and to eliminate what is not. It can increase students' engagement and it helps in creating an interactive learning environment. It can also be embedded to your moodle, this is interesting.

How tech has changed me?

I had had zero knowledge about these tech tools before I joined this course. This course presented many useful tech tools that can be used to help teachers promote their lessons and integrate them into a more effective one. Using tech inside the classroom helped me a lot since it saves time and efforts and it granted me a much more positive attitude towards teaching. this means, whatever the skills you have and the techniques you use in presenting lesson, still we are in need to use what is already available "mobile phones and computers". Judging the effectiveness of the tech tool you use in reference to SAMR scale also inspired me to have a better understanding of the tech tool I'm going to use.

Nowadays, new language is presented to students as a whole body, teaching in blocks. Corpus linguistics would be something that may direct my intention towards exploring it to know more about it. Exploring how to teach collocations to know more about corpus linguistics. My M.A. thesis would be on corpus linguistics, Yeah I have already got a title for my thesis, since it has become a new trend.
