This source if called, “The Canadian Society of Dowsers”, from the website http://canadiandowsers.org/. This websites declares dowsing to be an intimate energy source that we can tap into from ourselves and the outside world.  This website states that this practice is spiritual and scientific. This bring me to identify the red flag of Ideology. This source if called, “dowsing (a.k.a. water witching, radiesthesia)” brought to us by The Skeptic’s Dictionary, and written by Robert Todd Carroll. This source discuses the history of which craft and how dowsing sticks used to be a popular tool used for witches from the 16th to 17th century. This source speaks upon Catholic priest discoveries such as Father Alexis Mermet’s claim on, “pendulum diagnosis'”. These topics being discussed on this website follow the red flag of the unexplained and are trying to explain these phenomenon’s with Agenticity.

This website provides commercial resources such as audio books, dowsing cleansing workshops and paid advice columns.  The motivation for this source is not a non-for-profit organization and is solely for the purpose of making profit. This website has blurbs of information explaining their products in brief and is a confusing page to read. This website also hold dowsing services. This red flag is an appeal to their audience and may be a fraud to those holding an emotional connection to this topic.

A Weeping Willow is a popular choice when choosing a dowsing stick. The red Flag indicated is this ideology that that this is ancient wisdom and cannot be scientifically measured.
