1. The world is getting warmer - The earths temperature usually fluctuates, but recently, it has been going up a lot.
2. Its because of us - Due to our excessive amount of carbon emissions, we have heated up the atmosphere and the amount of pollution.
3. We are sure - More than 9 out of 10 climate scientists agree that carbon dioxide is the reason for global warming.
4. Ice is melting fast - The arctic sea ice is shrinking and glaciers are retreating worldwide. Seas could rise 3 feet by 2100 or maybe more
5. Weather is wreaking havoc - Worldwide, the number of climate-related disasters has more than tripled since 1980.
6. Species are being disrupted - Animals and plants are already vanishing from parts of their range that are now too hot. Extinctions come next.
7. We can do something about it - Renewables, the fastest-growing energy source, are projected to triple by 2040.

Food Insecurity - Malnutrition is linked to a variety of illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. It can also increase the risk of stunting, or impaired growth, in children. Rising ocean temperatures have led many fish species to migrate toward Earth's poles in search of cooler waters causing a portion of this malnutrition.

Infectious Diseases - There are also ways in which climate change is increasing the risk of diseases that can be transmitted through water, such as cholera and typhoid fever.

Mental Health - Extreme weather events such as wildfires and hurricanes cause so much stress and anxiety that they can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder and even suicide in the long run..

Why are emerging infectious diseases on the rise and what actions can we take to prevent future outbreaks? - Worldwide, there are huge populations of domesticated animals, some of which may harbor viruses that can make people ill, including the flu. Climate change, which can alter where animals and plants dwell and affect where illnesses may emerge, is another significant factor in the extinction of species. Slowing animal migrations that can raise the danger of infectious disease transmission and preventing deforestation can both assist halt biodiversity loss. We must dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions to stop climate change.

The biggest threat to elephants is their need for large amounts of fresh water, and the influence this has on their daily activities, reproduction and migration.
Parker's species - Giant Panda
Bamboo makes up 90% of the Giant Panda's diet. With the increase in carbon emissions and pollution bamboo growth is stunted. This leaves the pandas with much less food to survive off of.
