At 12 years old, Audrey Mason-Hyde is already an accomplished actor with film and TV credits, including 52 Tuesdays, a film that won the Directing Award at Sundance Film Festival, and the Crystal Bear, judged by the youth jury at the Berlin International Film Festival. Audrey has plenty to say about our gendered world with a fierce intellect and a unique sense of style. Audrey is a young person who doesn’t identify as any gender. Biologically she is a girl but looks like a boy. People call her a tomboy. According to her, color, hair, and clothes do not look at gender. Pink for girls and blue for boys, short hair mohawk for boys and girls must have long hair, and jeans with bow ties for boys and girls wear skirts. According to Audrey, such views on gender stereotypes must be changed. So, she was having a hard time because of his appearance. For example, when she goes to the women's toilet she is always shouted at. It made her very uncomfortable. For her, gender is a spectrum. Her gender expression and identity are entirely about her and not about how other people perceive her. She doesn’t know how to deal with that in a world so desperate to define gender. She wants everyone to be just sitting with that little bit of uncomfortable to make people like her feel better. Audrey says just be you. Dress as you want and be you. No matter what people say. It doesn’t hurt anyone whether she is a girl or a boy. 

IMO, It is important to recognize gender from an early age so that children are not trapped in the wrong stigma. As is the case with color, the general public has been fixated on certain colors that are specific to a particular gender. What mothers need to instill is that gender teaches children more about the roles they must play when they grow up and the responsibilities they will carry.

 

Not only color, but parents also often prohibit girls or boys from playing with certain toys. Girls and boys need to play with dolls, it's just that the shapes are different. Girls will think of dolls as their children, while boys tend to like stuffed animals or action figures. It is important for parents to introduce good things about gender so that children do not already feel comfortable in the wrong conditions.

I learned how to respect people and not judge people by their appearance. The problem is in the speaker's pronunciation because of the accent, the speaker's speed in conveying the material, and the new vocabulary and I don't understand the meaning.

I solved the problem by turning on the subtitles, repeating what I was listening to, noting down the new vocabulary, and then using google translate to find out the meaning.

 that is part of the life of a person who wants everything to be perfect
 and when she 30s , she is realized she can’t be perfect, perfect for everything.
the usage of these stereotypes defines the fine line of what the society thinks are appropriate for man and women,for example,the good mom can cooks,cleans,take care of the family , and as girls grow into their teens the media continues to play a significant role in the development of their identity,not only of girls but of boys as well.there has been so much research starting from 1970s. says that stereotyping not only gender but also cultural stereotypes are really bad for the society.

we as humans in society, do not have to be seen perfectly to be appreciated, because humans have different potentials. We are not created to be perfect and to be what other people want us to be. Due to stereotypes for women, we become less confident and feel less than enough to be worthy of respect.
Stereotypes in society make people less confident, especially women, because most men in the field of work are also sought after, so that many women feel that they do not have enough potential, stereotypes for women are, a good mother can cook, can clean , and must be able to take care of the family, in fact it can not only be done by women, men can do it, but unfortunately it is considered as a woman must be able and must have a talent for cooking and others.

I can take many lessons, and one of them is that I can learn how we can become educated women and love ourselves and not always blame ourselves for what other people think, because stereotypes make us not confident and brave
the problem is in the pronunciation, because it's like using a british accent so it's hard for me to understand it. the way I can do it is to turn on the subtitles and slow down the video playback speed and repeat the confusing part.that way i can better understand what the speaker saying

The speaker is someone born from two different cultures, Asia and America. She lives in America. She realized what people noticed first about her, like "she's not white".

She is "different" even though being Asian is the only thing special about her. non-racist people say "I'm white and you're not", racist people say "I'm white and your not, that makes me better than you", but the clueless sounds like "I'm white and your not, and I don't know how to deal with that.

The speaker keeps herself from stereotypical Asian as much as possible in her own way, such as pretending to hate math, and the worst part is that it works. The worst part is, that she lost her Asian half which is hard to get back.

Asian Americans are the model minority. Society uses their success or pits them against others with skin color justifying that racism doesn't exist.

Asian Americans mean they're not alike enough to be accepted but not different enough to be hated, they're on the grayline and society isn't sure what to do with them. They are considered different in society.

I agree with what he is talking about that nowadays racism is actually still there although maybe not much. why should there be a dividing line between skin tones? It's that dividing line that makes us feel "foreign" with ourselves, because when we're in an external environment, we inevitably have to adapt, like what the speaker does by pretending. But don't let us become someone else completely, we just need to protect ourselves from that racist act. 

Asian people are quite difficult to accept because they are considered "different". She also said that this discussion is so sensitive that it is difficult to speak up.

There are some words that I do not know so it is difficult for me. but with that, I can overcome it by looking for vocabulary and its meaning first which is quite time consuming. and because of that, I don't know about the pronunciation, so I use subtitles to understand.
