We lived in a house called My Home for You, which we found it in Airbnb. 
The host, called Jake, is an old gentleman, who was amicable and patient with us. The first day we arrived, fresh juice and delicious handmade macarons were provided by him. What is more, a popular restaurant famous for its fine cuisine was ordered at night with the help of Jake. He also recommended a significant number of well-known tourist places and presented a brief introduction there to us.
With his help, we had a lovely and pleasant short journey in Paris. If we had more time, we would visit more places and learn more French.

In the discussion, in order to make sure the presentation could go on smoothly, we checked up how each individual work had been done and corrected fault which was found. After that, we were talking about how to ensure a sentence is coherent, its words and parts were connected properly.
After finishing preparing the presentation, we started to review IMA course. There were a considerable number of formulas we confused. However, if one of us, who was done that part well, will explain the difficult points to others.
At night, we went out for dinner together. In the beginning, my friend took me to the emergency because of persistent high fever. After submitting proof of identity and describing some symptoms about myself in the reception, we had been waiting for around an hour and were asked by a nurse to do some tests. Although I could not understand many words since they were too professional to make sense， the nurse is very patient and good－tempered. She spoke slowly for me to explain and comforted me to release my nervous. 
Having been scrutinized, hardly had I been taken to the ward the doctors came in. The doctor is meticulous and kind, he asked me some questions about my symptoms and drew blood for chemical examination. 
I was on a drop all the time and took some pills to reduce my pain. In this period, I was so frightened and nervous. However, the nurses and doctors there are very friendly and looked after me quite well.
It was an extremely tough time but so valuable to me. I feel I became stronger and independent. Also, I am so appreciated to thanks for the nurses, doctors and my friends, who helped me through that difficult time.

 student comes from Korean. We went to National Sea Life Centre together. I had booked the tickets in advance online before we go. We had seen an abundance of marine creatures, some of them neither of us had seen in our home country. After that, she took me to a Korean restaurant, a tiny place, but the food here tastes so amazing. Honestly, this is the best Korean restaurant in Birmingham I had ever been. We had many interesting conversations on that day. Since we come from different countries, we used English to express our ideas sometimes even gestures and body language. I realized I have to master English and practice my spoken English, in order to express my feelings and opinions accurately.
