New Survive service offers sexual abuse support

The new Survive service, run by Staffordshire Women’s Aid and commissioned by the Staffordshire Commissioner’s Office, offers free confidential support, practical help, and counselling for victims of abuse and their loved ones

Restorative justice (RJ) brings those harmed by crime, and those responsible for the harm, into communication, enabling everyone affected by a particular incident to play a part in repairing the harm and finding a positive way forward. Research shows many people find restorative justice helps them to move on with their lives after experiencing crime. It can also reduce the frequency of reoffending.

Restorative justice is a completely voluntary process and will only take place with the permission of participants.

This storytelling performance aimed at children aged 4-11 asks: what happens when football and fairy tales collide? Blending the nation’s love of football with imaginative storytelling, music and song, the show spreads a positive message about kindness to others, being true to yourself and believing in your goals.
