understanding and empathy has helped me to look at my learners needs more, assessing why and how they do things. In what different ways do they learn things. By talking and communicating more with others who support these needs gave me a far better understanding of which way to move forward with my learners.

I find myself, particularly when teaching, pausing and really thinking how to answer questions, and also listening more to what learners say, processing it and trying to understand where they are coming from.

Have come more easily -

Thinking about your thinking - something I am used to doing, though I have not mastered it yet. I am comfortable doing this, but I need to find the most efficient way for ME to do this, which may be an ongoing process throughout my life

Remaining open to continual learning - this is the reason I wanted to teach in PECT as I think it is something invaluable, which we all naturally do. I am committed to learning and developing new skills and understanding throughout my life.
