The picture is focused on the girl who  is wearing a mask. It reminds us of the Covid-19 pandemic which was a part of our everyday life.

On the left side there are many bottles of juice with the different brands like Fanta or Coca-Cola with different designs.

The bottle on the top look new because they are in plastic whereas they used to be made out of glass.

On the right side there are white headsphones hanging in the air. They represent the closing on the picture. It takes a big part of the photo.

We chose this picture because it represenst the society we live in. It represents  a part of the consumer society. The Sodas are unhealthy drinks.  And the headphones represent a safe place for human . When we have our headphones on we are in our  world, we do not pay attention to the outside world, it is like a shelter to us. It the closing in the opening .

Our time is marked by the pandemic and this photo shows the pressure it has on people. An obligation for all: wear the mask and if you don’t either you get either a fine or a sickness that could result in death. These two extremes show the climate outside, a feeling of constant worry and oppression. The looks of people lead to think that they are forced to put on this mask that has become an object of everyday life. It is present with us everyday and yet we have not chosen it. But death is much more serious than discomfort, which is why they continue to wear the mask that could be a cure for this pandemic.

It shows how freedom of expression is propagated nowadays that has not really changed since the years and it causes a feeling of nostalgia as if nothing had changed. The exhibition of ideas brings light to this street as if the words were stronger than the weather. These ideas are piled on top of each other and vertically making them impressive. In this time of conflict of opinion, newspapers are like sacred books because they confirm certain ideas and shout them loudly. Bad weather is nothing compared to this rainbow of opinion.

The picture shows a lovely atmosphere in the dusk, the beginning of a summernight. 

In the middle we can see a group of students on their way home after school. It seems like they have a good friendship and enjoy being toghether since they are all hugging . The street signs are showing that this photo was taken in a big city. Even the appartements on the right side mentioned that it is a very dynamic and lively city. A man is walking in the front of the picure. He’s wearing a mask and glasses. The trucks are transporting products and the streetlights are on. 
This picture gives us a feeling of hope with those people hugging and walking through this busy and noisy street. Dusk gives a feeling of warmth and makes us feel comfortable.

covid masks are an element of our contemporary

world, and the clothes as well. There is a contrast

between the colors of the clothes and the shadow

with the sun in the background on the building.

Indeed, there is an illusion between darkness and

brightness.

Covid masks, motorcycle and the tv screen. The schedules of the shop are continuous, which was probably not the case 10 years ago. We chose this picture because it represented our world today with a lot of elements. The picture was taken from far away so the main characters look tiny in the middle but you can still see us very well. Also we chose the motorcycle in the picture because its color matches Lola's phone case. Concerning the emotions that the picture arouses, we have a feeling of love, joy and closeness with friendship and brotherly love. However the rear view mirror makes us feel as if the three friends were captive as trapped into the mirror. It could mean that nowadays young people depend on their appearance too much. We can also mention that there are two girls and one boy in the picture and mixed friendship are very common today.
