Interview by Havah Youngmann
Hi! What’s your name? My name is Miriam Seagrove.

Where do you live? Hoosick Falls, New York.

How many siblings do you have? Six. The oldest is Thomas and then it’s Bethany, Phillip, Aaron, myself, and then Rebecca and Lydia.

What the most important thing that your parents have taught you? Wow, that's a hard question! There are a lot of important things they taught me. One of the most Important things they taught me was to always put God first in my life. Whenever I'm thinking about a decision or whatever I want to do that will affect my future, I can always remember to pray about it and put God first.

How long have you been homeschooling? My family, or me?

You. I've been home-schooled for twelve years.

What is your favorite subject in school? Math.

What are your favorite hobbies/sports? Sports would be soccer. Hobbies? I like to cook.

What are your favorite things to cook? Mostly meals. Like a dinner or lunch.

Do you have a job? If so, what is it and do you like it? Yes I have a job. I work at the Market Wagon which is a bulk food store/deli sandwich kind of thing. Do I like it? For some parts of it I do, but I would like to get a new job.

Are you planning on going to college? I would like to. I’m still praying about it.

Do you have any ideas of where you want to go? Right now I'm just looking for a Bible College of some sort, to go to for my first year. My mom went to one in England, and there’s one in Sweden she thought would be a good one for me to go to. So I don’t know. I’m just trying to spend a lot of prayer in it.

Have you ever traveled as far as Sweden? No I haven’t.

Where do you see yourself five years from now? Wow that's a hard question! I really want to be a mom. Above everything I really want to be a stay at home mom homeschooling my kids.

Do you want a certain amount of kids? I thought I wanted about five kids, but now I want as many as God wants for me.
Have you always wanted to be a mom? Yeah, pretty much.
How long have you been going to co-op? This is my second year. What has been your all time favorite co-op class? Probably Yearbook.
How has co-op impacted you most? I really like how nobody looks at what people look like. Everyone totally look at the person for who they are.

What is your favorite co-op memory? The first time I came to co-op I felt like a sore thumb or that I stood out. And then one day Merry [Meredith Youngmann] came up and talked to me. She was the first one who came to say hi. And it was so nice to see that somebody was like, “Oh yeah, you're here, you're new, I’ll go talk to you.”

And last but not least, do you have any advice for underclassmen? My advice would be to definitely keep God first. That is the biggest thing. If you keep God first then you will be in his will wherever you go.

Awesome! Thank you!
