tattoo project

This tattoo is a tree with eyes instead of leaves. This tree part of the tattoo represents how have always loved nature. I enjoy camping in the wild, and have always found myself climbing trees in my childhood. The roots show that nature has always been a big part of my life, ever since the start. The eyes represent how I am always looking for something new to try. I enjoy trying new things and love having an element of adventure in my life. The eyes also represent how i like things that are different and not normal.

My most significant area of art growth is coming up with ideas and making colors match. In my first project, the song project, the colors look like a mess and dont go together at all. In my last project, the tattoo project, all the colors go together and look much better than the colors in the song project. I struggled with coming up with ideas, but by the end of this class i was much better at it. The tattoo i designed is vary original- although it is a tree it is unlike any other tree. My future goals as an artist is to become better at using materials besides charcoal, which i am already confident with my skills in. I want to become better with watercolor, which is a material i like to use but struggle with.
