Under Behaviors Planning and Assessment using time to my advantage for direct and indirect student services B-PE 6 will be a challenge because staying on target or knowing how much time to spend with a student or group in a school setting will have to balance. As a teacher I want my students to be in the classroom learning, but as a counselor I understand the importance of students getting the services they need to excel (ASCA, 2019). B-PE 3 and B-PE 4 are also areas that I want to improve. What intimidates me the most is knowing all the extra duties counselors have in the school and finding a balance between duties and developing and implementing student data to the best I can . I am looking forward to finding new ways of developing tools and programs based on student data that is collected during the year.

Some areas that I am truly comfortable with are mindsets including the belief that all students have access to high quality education and being part of the collaborative process to help facilitate effective school counseling to students of all grade levels (ASCA, 2019). Another section that had good results including more 4s is Behaviors professional foundation and Direct and Indirect student services with an area of identifying and supporting students who have been referred to counseling while leading groups of students in way to enrich their lives (ASCA, 2019).

My results show a strong automatic preference for straight people and abled people. While these test are great to show yourself what bias you may have toward a certain group of individuals. This study proved that having comprehensive programs in schools, allow for counselors to gain the trust and confidence by students by being consistent, respects the students privacy, and availability etc. By overcoming the barriers attached to seeking help from a counselor, Point of View program is always changing to include different approaches and keeping up with the current trends that could be effecting the school and students. I think it is important in schools that we work in to adopt a similar approach to how we can make our students live their best life.
