The average temperature for the Blue Ridge Lakes 85°F to 30°F. The average rainfall is 57 inches a year, The lake was also man made by the Toccoa Electric Power Company in 1936. The lake is over 5 miles long and 100ft deep. This lake is used to create power and for recreational use.

The first animal that are usually in the lakes are Largemouth Bass. These Bass are generally silvery white in color and most have dark horizontal lines along their sides. These bass usually like to eat smaller fish. Reasons that they live in the lake is it allows them to eat smaller fish and it is full of fresh water.
The Catfish is the second animal that live in the Blue Ridge Lake. A catfish has a yellow to purple-brown body that is often mottled with black or brown, with a pale white to yellow belly. Its smooth skin lacks scales. A catfish feed mostly on invertebrates such as worms, insects and crayfish. When 10 inches or larger, their diet consists entirely of fish: shad, carp, suckers, sunfish, largemouth bass and other catfish. A Catfish lives in a lake because of the things it eats and the Holes that are in the lakes they swim in.

Violets are flowers with five petals: two pairs of lateral petals and one often with veins of another color. The leaves of violets are usually oval or heart-shaped, which may be lobed. The common violet occurs in rocky or dry open woods, thickets, borders of woods, mostly on hillsides, but also near streams and ponds, in ditches, and in other wet places that is why this is near the Lake.

Bloodroot blooms during the early spring in deciduous woods with 3 to 4 inch white flower petals and bright yellow stamens. Bloodroot occurs naturally in dappled forests, so choose a location that gets partial sun in spring and more shade in summer after the trees leaf out. The soil should be moist, well-drained, and rich in humus this is why they live in the Blue Ridge Lake.

Trillium are oval bracts that resemble and function as leaves and arise from an underground rhizome. They are borne in whorls of three at the top of a stem or at ground level. The flower parts, including the sepals, petals, stamens, and stigmas, are also in groups of threes.

The Savannah River is on the border of Georgia and South Carolina. This River averages a temperature of 68° and 71° with average rainfall of 57 inches a year. This River flows into the Atlantic Ocean and is over 300 miles long. The US department of energy uses it to produce energy for the country Last it is the longest river in Georgia at 301 miles long. That is the Savannah River.

American Alligators are notorious for living in the savannah. American Alligators Both males and females have an "armored" body with a muscular, flat tail. The skin on their back is armored with embedded bony plates called osteoderms or scutes. They have four short legs; the front legs have five toes while the back legs have only four toes. they eat rough fish, snakes, turtles, small mammals, and birds. The Alligator is semi aquatic and like that it can get to land quickly in this river.

Cottonmouths are a snake and live near and swim in the river. The cottonmouth is a dark, stout, thick-bodied venomous snake. When frightened, the cottonmouth will pop its mouth open. The skin inside its mouth is bright white-and the reason it is called "cottonmouth." Most adults average 30-42 inches. Cottonmouths are known to consume a variety of aquatic and terrestrial prey, including amphibians, lizards, snakes including smaller cottonmouths, small turtles, baby alligators, mammals, birds, and especially fish. Cottonmouths are semiaquatic, so they're comfortable both swimming in water and walking on land.

The red-eared slider is a medium-sized turtle with olive to brown skin and carapace, and yellow stripes or spots. The distinguishing feature is the red patch, or line, on each side of its head. Adult males have longer and thicker tails and longer claws than females. Generally, pet turtles are omnivores, meaning that they eat both meat and plants. A typical adult pet turtle diet should include animal products, vegetables, and fruits. turtles are not entirely aquatic, they spend a lot of their time in the water. In fact, turtles need water to hydrate and regulate their body temperature.

The Spider Lily is an elegant and unusual-looking flower, the spider lily has a stem 1-3 feet high, with 2 or 3 blossoms at the top. The flower has 3 white sepals and 3 petals which are alike and unite to form a tube 2-4 inches long, narrow but spreading, and curving backward slightly as they age. The flowers are quite fragrant. These flowers often get hot and the water from the river cools them.

Wild Cacao trees grow in the forest understory to a height of 6–12 meters 20–40 feet, usually remaining at the lower end of this range. Its oblong leathery leaves measure up to 30 cm 12 inches in length, and are periodically shed and replaced by new leaves that are strikingly red when young. The beans are made up of a seed coat, a kernel and a germ. Cocoa needs a high temperature, plenty of water, and air that is always moist.

The Bottle Brush Buckeye A distinctive small buckeye, bottlebrush is a mound-shaped, thicket-forming, deciduous shrub, 6-12 ft. tall, with picturesque, ascending, candelabra-like branching. Lowest branches are horizontal and often rest on the ground. Palmately-compound leaves turn from dark-green to yellow-green in fall. plenty of water, and air that is always moist is all this plant nees.

A typical red fox diet includes rabbits, snakes, insects, birds, mice, berries and fruits. Red foxes live and rear young in dig small burrows with several exits. They dig these burrows near water, usually around natural cover like brush, trees, or other undergrowth this is why they live in this specific place.

Wild Boar have stocky, powerful bodies with a double layer of grey brown fur the top layer harsh bristly hair the under layer much softer. Mature males have tusks that protrude from the mouth. Piglets are a lighter ginger with stripes on their coat for camouflage. Its main diet consists of roots, fallen fruits, nuts and acorns. Fertile and sterile fronds are similar. In nature, they typically thrive along the edges of streams, and can, at times, even be found growing in water. Though this plant prefers medium to wet soil and partial shade.

The pond cypress is a slow growing tree, reaching 35 feet after 20 years, but at maturity, it can reach 70 feet with a 20 foot girth. In nature, the pond cypress grows at the edge of the water or in areas that tend to go dry during the summer. Like the bald cypress, standing water is needed for seed germination and survival in the wild.

St. Simmons is part of the Barrier Islands which are located right under the city of Savannah. 66°F to 81° is the average temperature while the average rainfall is 48 inches. This Island was threatened by Hurricane Ian. St. Simmons is known for its magical beaches , The island gets its name from a short-lived Yamasee Indian village known as San Simon, St. Simons Island is a coastal Georgia gem and known as one of the Golden Isles off the Atlantic Coast of the U.S..

White tailed deer, armadillos, dolphins live on the island

White tailed deer are tan or brown in the summer and grayish brown in winter. It has white on its throat, around its eyes and nose, on its stomach and on the underside of its tail. The male has antlers. Males weigh between 150 and 300 pounds and females weigh between 90 and 200 pounds. White-tailed deer are herbivores, leisurely grazing on most available plant foods. Their stomachs allow them to digest a varied diet, including leaves, twigs, fruits and nuts, grass, and corn. Recent studies show that many white tailed deer often bed close to water. Of the largest buck beds I've discovered in heavy cover, the vast majority of them have been located within 75 yards of a water source, even if it was a very small source.

Armadillos are greyish-brown oval-shaped body with a long, tapering tail; long head with a pointy snout and small black eyes on either side; hard, armor-like shell with 7-11 distinct band-shaped breaks around the center; four short legs with long claws designed for digging. most of their diet consists of insects and invertebrates. They live here because these places have moist soil that is easy to dig

Dolphins have smooth, rubbery skin and are usually colored in some mixture of black, white, and gray. They have two flippers, or fins, on their sides, as well as a triangular fin on the back. Like other whales, they have an insulating layer of blubber beneath the skin. Dolphins are active predators and eat a wide variety of fish, squids, and crustaceans such as shrimps. The dolphins like the warmth of the water near the Islands that is why they live here.

Stately live oaks live on the island An open-grown live oak is a massive, picturesque, wide-spreading tree with magnificent horizontal and arching branches that form a broad, rounded canopy. A squat, tapering trunk. The live oaks' tendency to grow along the coast means it has adapted to tolerate blustery conditions, sandy soil, and salt spray. Some live oaks, like those found on barrier islands, exhibit evidence of salt pruning.

Most species of water lilies have rounded and variously notched waxy-coated leaves on long stalks that contain many air spaces and float in quiet freshwater habitats.

Near the Warsaw Sound it gets more hot than it does cold. This estuary gets very little little rain with it being 2 inches of rain. This estuary it was the location of an American Civil War naval battle between the CSS Atlanta and Union ships in 1863. The sound is notable because of its proximity to Tybee Island, Wassaw Wildlife Refuge. Some threats are pollution or overflowing of water on land. People have used the sound as a water source.
The wild boar is like a wild pig. It has grey and brown fur and has a big nose. They eat fruit nuts and acorns which means it is an omnivore. They live near this sound because there is a large amount of wild hours near the sound.
Bald eagles have brown wings and a brown body. They have a white head and a yellow beak.
