They can also use this poem to practice rhymes and rhythm, where they have to find the words that rhymes. 

They can use the poem as a template to produce their own sentences and fill in words with things they like.

Creative activity; pupils draw the original poem in paper, and draw their own version poems (pink car, bear, heart, etc.)

We want to start with the first six lines, and then move on when the pupils get confindent enough on the colors. It is important to not give them too much to work with all at once.
We will introduce the poem by letting them listen to it several times.  
They have to memorise the first six lines.
