That's cool.

This piece was short sweet and to the point which is helpful in a world where my attention span is dwindling.

Another straightforward piece. I also noticed they have hyper links to recent events happening on the topic, within the piece. This is good because you can ensure you are most up to date on the topic.

The authors of this piece seem to be relative experts because they are BBC Middle East correspondents. This piece seems very unbiased and matter of fact. Almost as if the correspondents are allowing you to be a fly on the wall of the conflict. They do this by quoting officials who are on the ground from both sides.

Tom is an international correspondent working for BBC News currently posted in Jerusalem. He has covered the Middle East since 2017. Similar to the last BBC article that I reviewed, this one appears to also be very unbiased and factual. It really seems to just present all the facts they have from both sides.

This source seems surprisingly neutral and not overly supportive of Israel and anti-Palestine. I expected it to be very pro Israel heavy because republicans in the U.S. tend to sympathize with the Israelis and liberals tend to support Palestine. But ironically, this article did not use any biased diction or framing to create a narrative.

Even though this video is very pro-Palestine, I think it gives a good background on the topic. While viewing one needs to be very aware of this bias. But if the viewer is aware I think they can get a lot of good info on the history of the conflict framed with a pro Palestine lens.

One interesting thing that this article sheds light on is perhaps what the other side is leaving out. While the other side may be speaking all facts, they may be leaving out critical components of the story that don't promote their narrative. This piece uses diction that makes the conflict seem very harsh (don't get me wrong, it is) but their diction seems to churn up stronger emotions and feelings of empathy towards the victims.

I could not find a news post about the Israel, Palestine conflict from my local news sources in Doylestown, PA so I shifted my focus to the Day in New London, which is also still technically local to me.

The authors of this article appear to be from the associated press. I assume that is how the Day is able to get accurate information, by borrowing from other sources.

Article seems very factual and unbiased. This is because the authors are speaking very matter of fact-ly and quoting officials who are on the ground and actually in the fight.
