Leaving the school that had been my second home for a decade felt like a farewell to a piece of my identity. As I walk through the familiar halls, one last time, every corner seem to whisper, echoes of laughter, tears, and countless memories that had shaped me into the person I was today. The walls were adorned with artwork in Bolton boards filled with every announcement of past events. Reminders of the countless hours, spent learning growing and forming relationships. Each classroom held memories of teachers who are inspired me, challenge me, and believed in me, even when I doubted myself, but admits the nostalgia. There was a bittersweet realization that this chapter of my life was coming to an end as I stood in the empty hallway, the weight of growing pains settle up on my shoulder. The uncertainty of what Leah head the fear of stepping into the unknown and the change hung heavy in the air, leaving behind the school met, leaving behind a part of myself apart that has grown and evolved within these walls. As I walked away, caring the weight of 10 years of memories in my heart, I knew that while leaving the school behind was a painful part of growing up, it was also A necessary step towards embracing the adventure of life that layahead.

“Well, that’s it. The house is officially sold”, I said.

With tears welling up in her eyes, my mom proclaimed. “It’s hard to believe we won’t be coming back here anymore.”

“I know it feels like saying goodbye to piece of my childhood”

My mom still choking back tears. “Your grandparents put so much love into this house. It’s very spend summers running around in the backyard and winners cozied up by the fireplace.”

“I miss the smell of grandma is cooking lingering in the air” I said.

My mom agrees “it’s not just the house we’re saying goodbye to it’s the feeling of being together as a family in this place”.

“But I guess it’s also a reminder that life keeps moving forward weather were ready for it or not”

My mom said “you’re right it’s all part of growing up and embracing change even when it’s difficult”.

I said, “that’s the most important thing, isn’t it? as long as we stick together, we can face whatever comes our way”.
