The form is a way to look back at the teaching and learning that has happened and forward to the reteaching and learning that needs to happen. By reflecting on data, we can look at strengths, needs and trends for the campus, for grade levels, for individual teachers and for students. We can see what needs to be retaught to whom and in what kind of setting (small group, whole group, or individually).

This graphic will be a good tool to use during PLCs as we reflect on previous teaching, but also during unit planning as we think ahead to the next unit. It's always a good time to remember that just because we have taught something didn't mean our students learned it!

Reflecting is an important part of the learning process and essential for the learners to grow. Therefore, the end of the learning quarter is a great time to stop and reflect on all the learning they've done as well as think about how they can improve and best learn the content. Last year we completed a data sheet where we listed goals for students and after assessments would have students reflect on their failures, successes, and areas of need for the upcoming months. I thought this process was simple yet effective for students.
