For me it was a marvelous experience working with Deborah Holt the teacher coordinator of Harper Mccaughan Elementary School, Long Beach Misssissippi USA. My students of St Mark's Meera Bagh, New Delhi, India interacted effectively with their counter parts from HMES. It was learning experience for me too as I indulged in webdesigning with Google sites for the first time. The tutorials were very useful. Powtoons animation software was a super hit among the students of both schools. You tube slide show making was another new thing that we learnt . Conversion of Powtoons to Youtube videos and alternatively converting them to Mp4 fromat and uploading to Google Drive was another funfilled activity. This was an effective space saving tactic.

It was really fun because I got to connect with people

from other countries. I also got to make fun animations

talk to people I didn't know.

I loved doing the animations and

researching about my topic. I also loved

Its been a wonderful experience for me . I got to learn so many things

GVC helped me learn a lot. I learned aboutmy favorite holiday,Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

I also made a lot of friends.I also loved doing powtoons.

This has been a grt learning experience.

This year I learned about united nations and how they keep peace among nations.

I also learned about the stock market. I also learned alot about south america and their culture.

I think the mock united nations was a very good life experience

This year I've learned about many things.We learned about South American

Culture while writing a book about how it affects American Culture and for

just writing a book overall was a great experience. One of my favorite

experiences though was the Mock United Nations.

We learned that it's anout a group of people who keep peace in the countries

This Discovery year on Edmodo was awesome!

I have been involved in GVC for a very long time now and I have had partners from all over the world. I have to say that this is one of the very best activities that I do with my students every year! This year has been special with a great partner, Lakshmi Srinivas and her wonderful students from Saint Marks School in India. My students particularly enjoyed learning about Powtoons and utilizing it. I truly believe in the mission of GVC and I have encouraged this project with all my gifted teachers in my school district. In fact, 3 other teachers are trying GVC for the first time this year. It is exciting to see how others value global communication and the importance of students learning that the world really is a small place. Thanks to all from GSBI for continuing this extremely valuable project!
