Isaac: He is Edmond's twin, and his eyes are green. Isaac is very distant and quit with humans but the opposite with animals.

Osbert: The oldest of the cousins, even older than Daisy. He acts in a superior way.

Daisy (Elizabeth): The main character that now lives with her cousins, and she hates her stepmother. She is in love with Edmond. She is very thin.

Davina the Diabolical: An awful stepmother that Daisy hates.

Aunt Penn: A very busy character. She can't return to England.

Piper: A lovely, kind and pleasing girl. She is 9 years old and Daisy's favorite. She is good with dogs

Leah: She is Daisy's best friend. She leaves in New York as Daisy did. He is a girl that likes gossip, and she still communicates with Daisy.

Daisy's father: He does not seem very concern about Daisy though he maintains contact with her.

Mrs. Jane McEvoy: A nice woman who is taking care of Piper and Daisy. She is lonely since his oldest soon moved to the north. She fears for him because of the war.

Major Mac McEvoy: He works in the army and he is sure his soon in good. He works in field hospitals. He has given lots of details of the war to Daisy and he was the one that gave Piper and Daisy the new jobs they asked for. He also said were where their cousins.

Alby: The youngest of the McEvoy. He is very Energetic

Elena: A nice woman. She has started a friendship with Daisy because both collect apples for the army. She is big and wants a baby.

Jet: One of the dogs. It is helping Piper to organize the cows.

Joe: A imprudent guy that worked with Daisy
