Hello Dear Partners,
I'm Aytaç Özbakan
We have come to the end of our WEBA, the WEB academy project, and I would like to briefly evaluate our project.
Together with all of our partners, our greatest goals were to guide our students to produce course content using web 2 tools and share these contents with their friends, especially in this distance education process we are in.
From November to May, we created around 600 course contents with all our partners with the web2 tools we determined together with the students, and shared them with our own schools as well as other schools and students. Thus, we tried to be useful to different schools and students.
For example, with LearningApps, we made games from course contents and topics, we developed concept and mind maps with canva and other tools, developed them with puzzles, and reinforced important issues.
We created and implemented tests and contests with Quizizz, and made evaluations.
With Storyjumper, we both created e-books such as story and poetry and shared the course subjects as a book.
We prepared presentations on course topics with Google slides, and presented these presentations as project assignments in our lessons.
With the Mentimeter we learned how to create a questionnaire, apply it and analyze its results.
With each web 2 tool we have identified and used, we have created joint products with all our partners on media literacy. Common concept map, puzzles, common story, media public spot were some of them.
The theme of all of our joint products has been media literacy. We also received support from experts in this field and held meetings.
We have also achieved foreign language development in cooperation with our partners in Lithuania, Bulgaria, Italy and Poland.
We have specialized in the field of information technologies, we have now become aware of media literacy, we have created products by collaborating, and by using web 2 tools, we have become an individual that no longer consumes but produces.
I would like to thank all our project partners, project students and parents who supported us.

WEBA (Web-Academy) Project
The use of Web 2 tools is very important for teachers and students, especially in the distance education process. That's why I care about using web 2 tools more efficiently in our project. In this project, we guided our students about digital competence.

I am an English teacher in Adnan Menderes Secondary School.I used the activities our project team created a lot.Our lessons became more effective and my students had very much fun.From the beginning to the end we studied some web 2 tools such as canva, learningapps, qizziz,story jumper,menti,jigsaw planet, and we created logos,posters,quizes, puzzles,surveys,e-books ,videos . I am a math teacher in Kayabey Şehit Ferruh Kulaoğlu Secondary School.It iş privilede for me to be in this project.Thanks to this project,we got know the web 2 tools with my students and actively used them in our lesson.We both had fun and learned.
Thanks to the web- academy project , we produced digital course contents in this process where we did distance education, with mindmaps,Storyjumper, Google slides web2 tools.
With the quizizz web 2 tool, we conducted an exam for our students in distance education for measurement and evaluation. Taking exams has neler ben more fun.
With the mentimeter web 2 tool,we linked the research questions,tables and graphs that are already in our subjects.

I developed, I learned. The team spirit is very good. Doing together contributed to easier and lasting learning. We had a different language with my students. Web Academy has become a complete school for me and my students. As a teacher who has been doing projects for years, the use of web 02, which is the most difficult area for me, is no longer a problem for me. We learned in avatar programs. My students prepared presentations for other lessons with the web 02 programs they learned in this project. This made me also happy. With this project, we produced nearly 600 distance education content. We shared our content with students and schools not included in the project. Dear friends and students, with this great project and team we did lots of works together. I must say that as a teacher I developed my teaching skills with this project. During the project period there were lots of activities that provide us to develop key competences. Especially with distance education being at the forefront we needed more materials. So we created our own materials all together and we used them in our classes. On the other hand,while creating content we made our students meet new tools that make their learning process much better. While using these tools they learned how to be a good media literate as well. Within the scope of the days we celebrated ,we hosted an astrophysicist in a webinar and this was a great experience for our students. Hello to all my project partners and students. Our Webacademy project has special importance for me. I feel lucky that I took part in this project and was able to present good works. I set out on the eTwinning journey for my students. As you know, we have been struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic for more than a year. As in every field, we are experiencing disruptions in the field of education. My aim was for my students to spend this process both mentally and mentally efficiently, with active and entertaining activities without leaving school and lessons. I can easily say that I have reached my goal in this. Of course, our students not only worked but also got together with each other and us teachers. This situation made me very happy.
Meeting and working together with my fun teacher friends, my dear partners, who do their job with great enthusiasm, enthusiasm, and meticulousness, motivated me a lot.
As for our project, we spent months fully. Thanks to our devoted work, we have had great products. As someone who loves and tries to use web tools, this year, I had the chance to do a lot of work and learn about the tools I don't know, thanks to our project. We got a different Web 2.0 tool every month. The best part was the introduction of our new vehicle towards the beginning of the month. I will never forget my excitement and anticipation like a child. I can say that the best thing I have done during this pandemic process is that we both have fun and learn with my partners and students.
I saw very clearly in our project that learning is not an age.
Using Learningapps in November, Mind Maps / Puzzle in December, Quizizz in January, Storyjumper in February, Google Slide in March and Mentimeter Web 2.0 in April, we created more than 600 products with our 14 partners and students. In addition to all of these, we all got very useful information about Media Literacy. In today's age of technology and how accurate, true and useful is all the information we see and read? We held various meetings to increase our knowledge on this subject. We came together with Dr. Umut YILDIZ and Halil TÜRKER. Very efficient webinars took place.

And unfortunately, every good thing has an end, so our project has come to an end. Hope to see you again in new projects.

Tüm proje ortaklarıma ve öğrencilerimize merhaba, Webacademy projemiz benim için ayrı bir öneme sahip. Bu projede yer aldığım ve ortaya güzel çalışmalar sunabildiğim için kendimi şanslı hissediyorum. eTwinning yolculuğuna öğrencilerim için çıktım. Malum 1 yılı aşkın süredir dünya olarak salgın hastalıkla mücadele ediyoruz. Her alanda olduğu gibi eğitim alanında da aksamalar yaşıyoruz. Amacım, öğrencilerimin okul ve derslerden kopmadan faal ve eğlenceli çalışmalarla bu süreci hem ruhsal hem de zihinsel açıdan verimli geçirmeleriydi. Bunda da amacıma ulaştığımı rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim. Elbette ki öğrencilerimiz sadece çalışmalar yapmakla kalmayıp birbirleriyle ve biz öğretmenlerle kaynaştılar. Bu durum beni çok mutlu etti.
İşini büyük bir istek ve zevkle, heyecanla, titizlikle yapan eğlenceli öğretmen arkadaşlarım yani sevgili ortaklarımla tanışmak ve birlikte çalışmalar yapmak beni çok motive etti.
Projemize gelince dolu dolu aylar geçirdik. Özverili çalışmalar sayesinde harika ürünlerimiz oldu. Web araçlarını seven ve kullanmaya çalışan biri olarak bu yıl, projemiz sayesinde birçok çalışma yapma ve bilmediğim araçları öğrenme şansım oldu. Her ay farklı bir Web 2.0 aracımız oldu. En güzeli ise ay başına doğru yeni aracımızın tanıtımıydı. Bir çocuk gibi heyecanlanıp merakla beklemelerimi asla unutmayacağım. Bu pandemi sürecinde yaptığım en güzel şeyin ortaklarımla ve öğrencilerimizle hem eğlenip hem öğrenmemizin olduğunu söyleyebilirim.
Öğrenmenin yaşı olmadığını bizim projemizde çok açık bir şekilde gördüm.
Kasım ayında Learningapps, Aralık ayında Mind Maps/Puzzle, Ocak ayında Quizizz, Şubat ayında Storyjumper, Mart ayında Google Slayt ve Nisan ayında da Mentimeter Web 2.0 araçlarını kullanarak toplamda 600'ü aşkın ürünü 14 ortak ve öğrencilerimizle meydana getirdik. Tüm bunların yanında Medya Okuryazarlığı hakkında hepimiz çok faydalı bilgiler edindik. Günümüz teknoloji çağı ve gördüğümüz, okuduğumuz her bilgi ne kadar doğru, gerçek, yararlı? Bu konudaki bilgi birikimimizi artıracak çeşitli toplantılar gerçekleştirdik. Dr. Umut YILDIZ ve Halil TÜRKER ile bir araya geldik. Çok verimli webseminerler gerçekleşti.
Vee malesef her güzel şeyin bir sonu var ki projemizde sona gelindi. Yeni projelerde tekrar görüsmek dileğiyle.

I am very happy to be in this project. We learned the web2 tools that we will always need throughout the project. My favorites from Web2 tools were mentimeter and google slide.

I work at the Persembe Foundation Secondary School. Turkish Teacher Aytaç Özbakan is a friend of mine whom I know and whose work I follow.
