Who can use the N-Word?

This video is all about who can really use the N-Word. And honestly the answer should be no one. Many people in this video explain how they feel about the N-Word and what they think it means. Some of the opinions in the video are outrageous. Two black men that play football say its okay for them to say it because they are one. They say that having an "a" at the end means "buddy" or "dude." They are basically saying no one else should say that and that's just plain wrong. How can you discriminate someone from saying a word you can say? That's not okay and most of the comments on the video are agreeable but the comments like that are ignorant and ridiculous.

Discrimination towards every race.

Blacks are not the only group that has racism. Whites, Asians, Indians, everyone. Blacks and everyone just assume that blacks are the only ones who have racism, but blacks can be racist and we do see it. With the N-Word, calling whites crackers, saying "you dance really white." If a white person said that about a black person a riot would start. We only see racism towards blacks and honestly its not fair towards the other races who see racism but don't say anything because they aren't entitled.

Racism after 9/11?

After 9/11 the United States was in fear, they were worried for there safety. 3,000 people just died. How can you not be protective of other people? You don't know who to trust or who's who. Americans don't think Patriotism is racism, that's not true at all. People were just scared and afraid for themselves. Better to be safe than sorry. The title is misleading. I don;t think people thought being American was all about being racist towards anyone. Its New York City, the big apple. There's tons of people and you have no idea what other peoples motives are. I would be fearful too. You can't just sit there and open your arms to people, it was a scary time. Some people are racist but you cant assume everyone is when the biggest terrorist attack in America just happened and people want to be safe.

Huck Finn

I agree with this. Because Huck Finn is a great story about a boy who finds out about himself and his beliefs. The book is a great way to teach students about racism back in the day and show how bad the old days were with racism. Huck finds himself and grows into a great person in the story and cares about Jim. You should teach Huck Finn with sensitivity but dont hide how the days were back then. He apologizes to Jim and shows who he really is.
