One is a speaking activity handout that I designed myself based on the first video, based on which I set up a series of questions and a role-play activity: three different cards with different identities (landlord and tenant) on them, and the students need to choose one character to talk to the other to complete the activity of renting an apartment.Students needed to watch the video and then analyse and summarise what the girl renting the property mainly asked about, and then think about what would be useful and use it in the role-play dialogue that followed.

This is a Cambridge school speaking event that suggests ways to practice yourself at home. Students are required to record their spoken English to share with a study partner, or to study on their own. In this activity, students were asked to watch sports photos for comparison, record the recordings they were most satisfied with, and then reflect on their speaking skills. Later, students can answer other questions on their own and view the answers.
