It's the end of the world. "They" have taken over and only a few lucky ones have survived including Amy. She is resourceful, brave, and intelligent. In a world where you must focus on yourself and survival first, Amy opens her heart to a toddler who she finds, helps keep alive, and loves.
Shockingly, they are rescued and taken to a New Hope. At first it seems like a haven for survivors but soon they discover that New Hope is not all that it seems. The question becomes who's more dangerous: the "monsters" on the outside who devour humans as meals or the "monsters" on the inside whose disturbed moral compass leads to corruption and death.

5 Stars-If you like post-apocalyptic thrillers, brave protagonists, and a hint of romance, you will love this book!

This book relates to the real world stuff that is actually going on. A white police officer pulls over 2 black teenagers leaving a party. The driver's name is Khalil, he is your typical black male.

This book is interesting and very realistic because it is a real-world situation. People who like real world things will enjoy this.

When I was the greatest By: Jason Reynolds by just looking at the back of the book, with a very short non descriptive summary I automatically thought the book was going to be boring and I also had gave it 1 star, but as I read the book I thought to myself this book can actually be interesting so I gave it 5 stars as I read the whole book. This book is about 3 friends(Ali, Noodles, and Needles) with 3 different personalities: Ali the brave caring one, Noodles the rebellious and selfish one, and then Needles the nice and quiet one. One day all the friends had gotten invited to an adult party which can lead to one out of the three friends fighting for his life, and all three of them being on someone else’🤬 list. People who like mystery and thriller books/movies this would be a good choice to read.

People who liked the movie “Passenger” (Chris Pratt) will like this book. The movie and book both share similar plot points, however this book goes into better detail and almost lets you feel like you’re actually there. Beth Rivas did an outstanding job on letting the reader have the point of view of both Elder and Amy, I believe this is what made the book so interesting to me (besides the amazing plot)

Although this is suppose to be a beautiful thing tally isn't sure she wants to be a pretty after seeing what being pretty did to her best friend and others around her .Follow Tally on a adventure to find her true self . Maybe being pretty isn't so pretty after all.

This book definitely keeps you on your toes. and makes you wonder past imagination. i couldn't imagine living in a world that could define pretty.

As the book goes along Darrow is excited that Addie is back but has a lot of suspicions. On the other hand, there are also terrorist that threaten to terrorize Washington D.C. and no one knows when they will strike next.

4 1/2 stars

People who like action, drama, or mystery would really read this book and it does have many surprises to put you on the edge of your seat.

Meanwhile another comes along which name is Murfey. Chaz turns out to be weird and sexually perverting, she immediately breaks it off with him. Sophie and Murfey start to talk more and they both start to catch feelings for eachother. As the more and more they talk they start to find more things in common. They both see the wonderful people they both are. Sophie decides Murfey is the one she wants. On the other hand she can careless of other peoples opinions and what they think about Murfey and her relationship.

People who like books based on true stories would really enjoy this book.

Jen wants to rebel at the capitol, but Luke is afraid and stays behind. Jen thought tons of shadow children were coming, but only forty actually showed up and the government shot every one of them and covered up the whole massacre. After a few days of not seeing Jen he fears the worst. He sneaks out once again to find Jen, her father finds and questions luke with a gun clueless to who he is and why he is in their house. Luke begins to explain himself to Jen’s father, He calms down and tells Luke what’s happened, that she was killed. He then offers Luke a fake I.D. where he goes on to his new life at a boarding school as Lee Grant. People who like fictional and twisted books, will like this book.
