Costa question 1 - if you were in Allie's situation, what would you do?

If I were in Allie's situation, where I had to choose between the boy that I am supposed to choose, or the boy I am truly in love with, I would choose Noah. I would make this decision because it is clear that Allie hasn't gotten over him yet, shown by the frequent visits and the way she describes him. She obviously cannot stay away from Noah, so it would be unfair to Lon if she stayed with him even though she is in love with Noah. A person cannot just bury their true feelings, and try to cover them up, because shown by Allie and Noah, it will always resurface at inconvenient times.

costa question 2 - Why is Allie hesitant about seeing Noah and reconnecting with him?

Allie is hesitant because she is engaged to Lon whom she loves. She knows deep down that she loves both of them very much, Noah more, and knows she has to make a decision between the two. Allie feels stability with Lon, and her family likes and approves of him, while she is attached to Noah because she feels adventure and thrill with him, but her family did not approve of him. Both Noah and Lon have good things to offer her, but at the end of the day, she always finds her way back to where Noah is, where she realizes that the right decision is to be with Noah.
