Cerebral Palsy Orthosis Project - In the brainstorm step, I researched what cerebral palsy is, and what kind of support people with that condition need. After gathering information for that, I could brainstorm my ideas. I decided to draw an orthosis for the ankle and include labels to display what materials were used.

Another important factor in the plan and design process is your decision matrix. A decision matrix is a table that has multiple critiques for your design and your groups, and you will rate them as a team. Simply, that's where you combine all of your ideas for you and your group, and where you plan on what design you are going to go with based on your decision matrix.

This is the construction process, where you will construct your project according to your plan. During this step, if you make a mistake during construction you can totally fix it. But you will have to take note of mistakes or changes you make. It is so important to record everything that you do in the engineering design process because it certifies what you have done, and shows a clear process.

Bean Bag Launcher - In this step we tested our product multiple times and recorded the tests. We then analyzed the information we gathered and decided if any changes needed to be made.

In the reflect and improve step, you are going to be analyzing your product's test, and whether you need to make any changes or not. You can always go back and make changes as long as you record the changes you have made. For example, if you are testing your product for an orthosis, and the ankle brace doesn't have enough support, and you need to add another rubber band, then that is the perfect time to record the changes made and go back and test it again. Sometimes your product doesn't satisfy the problem as much as you thought it would, so you may have to change the solution a bit to better solve the problem.

Toxic Popcorn - During this step we reflected on our designs and the project as a whole. Me and my group discussed how the project went and the flow in which it took place. Additionally, we made note of how we solved our problem.

Lastly, the communicate step, during this step, it is time to share your results. Present what you have completed and explain how you solved or found a solution to your problem. You can go into detail about the changes you may have made along the way, or if it was simply a smooth process. Despite if it was a difficult problem or not, you can always share what you have done and what you have learned from the project you completed.
