Children can be creative with water. Using a water station can be beneficial with the children's sensory and play. Using materials like sponges, funnels, bottles, and buckets allow the children different ways to play with the water. Adding soap to the water also is fun for the children. They can be creative with the bubbles or even pretend they are cleaning the other objects in the water.

Weather is part of everyday life. Children can use different materials like cotton balls, and markers to create a weather scene. This allows them to be creative and imaginative with there scene. They may use the cotton balls for clouds, or even color them green and make a tree or bush.

How do I do that?” Other times it is in-the moment: “To go higher and add to one side, what can I use?”—Peter Pizzolongo. This is super important for their critical thinking and problem solving. Also it nurtures creativity because they have to work around issues, as well as create structures how they please.

Add padded flooring and soft materials for a comforting environment." As we talked about in prior lessons, comfortable play spaces will allow for the children to be most creative. If they feel safe and comfortable, they may learn through creativity.

Creative Arts Station

In this article, it talks about creative arts. "Completing art, activities, for example may foster the growth and maturation of children's fine and gross motor skills (Koster 2012)". I believe this is an important statement because using art and art tools allow the children to work on fine motor skills. If they are using scissors to cut paper, they have to be able to use the scissors. If they are coloring, they have to be able to hold crayons or pencils.

Multi media

Multi media allows for the children to be creative. Whether it is with clay, paper, markers, pens etc, those are all materials that children can mix and be creative with. Textures are also key aspects of multi media because it can enhance the children's sensory.
