Kind of school project that students really like to participate in. We had our free time to walk around Centennial Hall and take some pictures. Trip to Planetarium was also very interesting subject. Our whole day was great.

The trip to Centennial Hall and Planetarium was very intresting. We had also a lot of free time to walk in the park, which is around Centennial Hall. There are beautiful plants, flowers. We have also time to take photos. Wheather was beautiful. It was very nice and we spent time with best friends. <3

Spending time outside of school with my classmates and our teacher taking pictures and just walking around admiring the scenery that surrounded us was just like an ideal school trip for me. The show in the planetarium was actually very interesting too - I think that after that presentation about stars I want to know more about them.

I had really great time with my friends walking around the Centennial Hall. We made a lot of photos and made a short film and. Later we went to the planetarium. I've never been in there. It wasn't very big but it was a nice place and we learned something about stars. I really enjoyed this short trip and I hope there will be
more like this one in the future.

It was a really nice day. We spent a lot of time together walking around the Centennial Hall and Szczytnicki park. We also went to the Planetarium, where we learnt something really interesting about stars. It was so nice to go somewhere with my friends.

As we entered the lee strand factory we were greeted by Treasa. Treasa led us to the board room which is only used once a month by the local farmers and main staff. Treasa then proceeded to should us a presentation about how everything works here in the factory . She talked more about each slide in detail. Once the presentation was complete we headed down to the part of the factory where the milk is packaged. Teresa explained how the mechanics work and how it's all done by machine, the only time the milk is touched is when the farmers bring it in and they have to check that the milk is ok to be used. After we watched the machines packaging the milk we went outside to see how the milk is brought in and tested. The farmer gave a sample of the milk to be tested and once he was given the clear he used large pipe that carries the milk in side to be pasteurised. We went back inside to the board room because Treasa had a small bit more information to tell us, she told use about a composition that is run by lee strand and was anyone interested. Treasa then handed out vanilla and chocolate protein milk for us to try. As we were leaving we were given lee stand goodie bags.

On the 14/11 we went to lee strand, a local milk factory that would be quite popular in our local area. we were greeted by Treasa, she was the tour guide for this excursion, she took us around the factory. we saw the factory where they assembled the containers, we also saw the place where the local farmers drop off the milk and it gets tested by one of the workers.

Went to the omliplex cinema to see presentation about ancient irish tombs made of stone slabs, the archaeologist showed us skulls, bones and knives use by the people from the past, it was cool

It's about a tomb in Milltown. They settled on the coast. In 2015 the land owner went to Michael and asked him to conserve it. Artefacts were found last year. It was another portal stone. They also found bones from a human body. Learning about the Mesolithic and Neolithic times. It was interesting knowing that a tomb is in Milltown so close to me. I least enjoyed the first two speakers, I though they weren't upbeat speakers they didn't make it interesting.

I improved my History and science and learned that I like some parts of history. I developed my listening skills and my writing of Evaluation and learned more history and science. I would listed my participation good because I listened to the speaker and wrote down things on my Evaluation.

At the start of the school day we left on a bus to go the show Tomb in a lab in Tralee omniplex . We had 3 speakers talk about their different jobs on the Killaclohane Portal Tomb. I found this presentation to be quite enjoyable and I was interested in finding out more about the 3 speakers and what there jobs involved.

We went on an educational trip to the Lee Strand milk factory located in Tralee. As we walked through the doors we were greeted by Teresa a member of staff. She was our guide for the day, she showed us a presentation and she also brought us to where they package their milk. They gave us goodie bags and some milk.I really enjoyed this tour and their milk was very tasty.

We watched a video of the Killaclohane Portal Tomb and we were told we were getting 3 talks about the Tomb and the excavation. We first listened to Dr. Michael Connelly who talked us through how they dug the tomb and what tools and techniques they used. Our second talk was by Dr. Linda Lynch who is an osteoarchaeologist. Our third talk was by Kendra Sirak from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia who studies Ancient DNA. I enjoyed Kendra Sirak's talk the most as I am very interested in Ecology and Microbiology. At the moment I am working on my BT Young Scientist project which is also about DNA extraction and microbiology. I found it very interesting how Kendra was using DNA from bones to analyse and sequence. I picked up information that I can use in my project which is fantastic.

We went on a school trip to the Omniplex in Tralee and three different speakers spoke to us about Killaclohane Portal Tomb in Milltown as a part of Science Week's The Tomb in the Lab. It was a very enjoyable and interesting trip and I learned a lot about the history of the area and archaeology.

We traveled to the Lee Strand Headquarters in Tralee by bus to get a short tour of the factory. We were greeted by Teresa there and she gave us a presentation on the history of Lee Strand and how their milk goes from the farmer to the shelves within 24 hours. We then got to see the packaging process of the milk and then we were brought out to see where the milk is dropped off and tested by the Lee Strand professionals.

On the 6/11/17,we traveled to the omniplex in Tralee to watch a presentation about Archaeology. After watching drone footage of the Killaclohane Portal Tomb were listened to talks done by Dr Michael Connolly and Dr Linda Lynch. Dr. Connolly discussed how they excavate a site found and what tools are used. Dr. Lynch talked about osteoarchaeology. The final speaker was Kendra Sirak from Atlanta, she talked about DNA how which part of the human skull contained the most DNA. I enjoyed listening to Dr. Connolly and Sirak because they both made their talks sound interesting and I have always been interested on how the DNA worked

In September, I was on a local trip to the Faculty of Natural Sciences - "St. Cyril and Methodij" University in Skopje with my teacher of physics Marina Poposka. University professors in physics had a presentation for "Application of Radiation in Medicine". The presentation was very interesting and after presentation it was possible for professors to give the appropriate answers to the questions asked by the audience.
