Climate change is the earth's temperature shifting slowly hotter over time. Climate change has been a somewhat controversial topic for years but it has been proven scientifically to be apparent and real. Climate change is due to the mass manufacturing done all over the world producing lots of fossil fuels which are raising temperatures. Climate change has negative effects like the melting of ice in Antarctica, more potential rain and flooding, and more potential heat waves in the future. I am interested in this topic because I want to know what can be done to slow or prevent Climate Change the most effectively.

The main arguments of this website are that things must be done to fight the effects of climate change. The point of this article is to inform people on the negative things climate change is doing too our planet, and what people can do to help. This source is useful because it helps me convey the concern of climate change and how to help people help the planet. This information is reliable because it is backed up by citations of credible sources and studies. This source is not unfairly biased in the fact that it's main goal is to help the problem of climate change. This source helps me convince people to care about my topic because it can uses pathos to appeal to their emotions of feeling worried when it highlights the negative effects that come along with climate change.

The main arguments of this website are the impacts and threats of climate change. The point of the article is to provide a government-run source for people to learn about climate change and to inform people about it. This source is very useful in helping me convey the need to stop climate change by highlighting the threats that will occur if we don't. This source is completely reliable and unbiased, as it is run by the Government and is a National Association. This source was helpful to me because it informed me of more threats I did not already know could come along with Climate Change like heat waves. Similar to my other sources this article will help me convince others to care more about climate change by showing them how bad it could be if they don't do anything and ignore it.

The main point of this source is to keep a close eye on climate change across the globe and give updates with helpful information on Climate change around the world. It also has information on how we can slow climate change by helping as a community. This source is useful because it is different from my other sources by zooming out of just the USA and giving a perspective the whole world can look at. It allows me to see how climate change is different in different places around the world. This information is reliable because it is up to date information made by the United Nations which is an extremely credible organization made up of many large countries including the US. It is non biased as it is just an informational website for the world to see. This differed from my other sources by being a global scale research website instead of just inside the US and it gave me information to help convince others of the importance of climate change.

The perils that could come with Climate change if people stay indifferent are vast. Over time, the sea level will rise causing more floods than before, and more intense heat waves and droughts will also occur as a result of rising temperatures. Over the multiple sources cited, there were three main solutions I came across. Advancing policies to fight climate change, Engaging with businesses to reduce carbon emissions, and helping people and nature adapt to a changing climate. Between these three, I think the best option would be to engage with businesses to reduce carbon emissions, Many large corporations are releasing massive amounts of carbon causing serious damage and escalating climate change. If we can cut these down drastically I think it would be our best chance of slowing down climate change.
