  • Tenochtitlan gave many cities advantages and allowed it to become one of the largest cities at the time.
  • The location was excellent as there was high access to waterways and allowed Aztecs to travel and trade easily, showcasing how colonialism started due to geopolitical demographics and trade pathways.
  • The Codex Mendoza is in the Oxford library showcasing colonialism and how this knowledge is showcased how trade successes is still kept in hands of the west.
