This video would be a great video to used to explain to children who have ADHD what it is. Using comic book like graphics and super heros, this is light-hearted, easy to understand, and sheds a new and understanding light on the disorder. It also uses a boy with ADHD to show the audience his experiences before he had more knowledge on the topics vs after. This could give hope to defeated or frustrated children who do not know why they feel different.

ADHD symptoms involve fidgeting, interrupting, and the inability to focus. The doctor goes into depth on children's behavior. ADHD usually begins when children are young and can continue into adulthood. Simple things like going to school and even eating dinner can be difficult for children. There are tests to diagnose ADHD and ADHD can range from very slight to very severe. Based on this, treatment is personalizable for each child. IT is very treatable and children who are being treated can do very well and have great success. Schools can also help out when they know of this condition such as breaking up homework chunks, being understanding, and more. The video also addresses how ADHD is not the parent or child's fault.

After researching ADHD, I now understand how difficult it can be for children who suffer from this. I chose this topic because I always heard kids joking about having it or hearing many contradicting answers about it. I wanted to inform myself on the topic since it is a relatively common disorder in young children and teens my age. Something I found interesting while researching this topic was how important a families support is. Children with ADHD need extra support and understanding from parents. I am glad that I chose this topic and that I know more about the struggles and solutions to ADHD.
