I have noticed that between neighbouring countries there are some similarities in style and beauty standards, and this might be due to the fact that when a person moves home, it brings all its tradition to its new place. This also applies the opposite way, and is probably the reason why the world had and still has so many different beauty standards. People in the past didn't travel a lot and quickly, so every country developed its own definition of beauty. 
Most importantly, beauty standards have changed throughout the decades. In fact, in the ‘20s, women were preferred to be flat chested, while now in America a lot of females have plastic surgery to accomplish the opposite.
Furthermore, as I said in my presentation, social media and celebrities seem to be setting the style in the 21st century. On the other hand, in the 1920s the styles were set from the feelings of freedom and new opportunities. 
I truly enjoyed the presentations from today, and I am sure I will be fond of the ones to come.
I believe it is good to realize that different areas of the world developed different perspectives of beauty in different ways.

In spite all of these beauty standards, we must remember that appearance isn't what truly makes us beautiful. Our personality, hearts and minds are what truly matter.
Just as Albert Einsten said, "Our task must be to free ourselves… by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and it’s beauty."

Many things were expected from women concerning beauty, because soceity thought things such as lighter skin, blonder hair, larger eyes, curly hair, rosy and round cheeks, ample breasts, and so on so forth were found gorgeus in Rennisance Italy. Though, for men, It was all about dressing like men from the upper-class, basically trends, trends, and you guessed it, more trends!
Nowadays things are different. Though there are still things soceity thinks is gorgeus, there are different standards and different trends. But even the fact of still having standards in general makes then and now more similar then meets the eye.
Overall, I think mine and Lorena's presentation covered the most major and important topics: Beauty standards then in now in Rennisance Italy, and in Modern Day Italy in the 21st centeury. Every conclusion and summary had valid points, there were not to many words on each slide,  and there was an appropriate amount of pictures and examples! One thing we could have done better was not scripting it, because we were mainly looking at the computer and not at our audience. 
Overall, im very proud of us! We managed to create something specail, and enjoyed doing it. Thank you for this project oppurtunity, Ms. Morris! Great job, everyone! All of the presentations were absolutley impeccable, at least from the ones we have already seen, but I already know that the others will be absolute quality.
