Hi Ms soh I really enjoy ur classes because of your little stories and random mini quizzes to test our English. Truthfully, I have learnt so so much from you in such a short span of time because u always go straight to the impt stuff that we need to know, giving us useful tips and teaching us crucial skills. I like how strict u are with marking but u still reassure us that we will do well for olevels cos we're ur students😎

I really like your fits ur dresses are very cool and I think ur short red hair is very pretty😊

I know ur other classes seem like they don't appreciate you, but I assure u that they will once they realise what a great impact you've made in bettering their English. Don't let their complains get to u and keep being who u are, I love ur teaching style! I really wish you could stay with us for the rest of the yer but I understand your circumstance❤ I wish you all the best and the most 乖 students to come your way in your future schools :)

You're super cool and 4e1 really appreciates u, I hope u know this❤❤

Farewell, Ms soh

We'll miss u🥺

Dearest Ms Soh

I just wanted to say thank you — not just for being a wonderful English teacher, but for being such a genuinely kind and wise presence in my life. Our conversations on the train have always meant a lot to me. You somehow manage to make every chat feel calm, insightful, and full of wisdom , and I often find myself thinking about the things you’ve said long after we’ve parted ways at Bishan.

I really admire how open you are with your time and your words, as well as your patience with our class with our incessant chatter that never seem to die down. Even after the bell rings, you’re still there, patiently answering questions and helping anyone who needs it — and that says so much about the kind of teacher and person you are.

It’s sad to see you leave, but I’m excited for whatever comes next for you. Any place would be lucky to have someone as genuine and wise as you.

Thank you again for everything — in and out of the classroom.

Greetings and salutations dearest Ms Soh!

Thank you for your efforts in nurturing the people of Zhonghua. Certainly you may not call Zhonghua your school, but 4E1 will definitely be OUR class! Thank you for staying up late to ensure that we receive the vital knowledge to do well in English. Thank you for the jokes that you crack and the friendly banter in every lesson. Others may say that you’re repetitive, but we certainly would not mind listening to those all day long :) We promise to work hard in all aspects of our lives, and we will remember that a bad grade will not determine the rest of our lives. After all, “if you’re bad, you can only get better”. Wise words, indeed. Goodbye Ms Soh :( We are not disheartened that you’re leaving, but happy that you have imparted fond memories and knowledge in our graduating year.

Hey ms Soh!

Kind of sad you're leaving so soon:( Zhonghua hasnt provided you with the best experience so far and I'm sorry to hear that. On the bright side, im really glad that 4e1 could be your comfort class that brings you to work everyday. Even though you have been strict and blunt with your ways, It has only emphasised how sincerely passionate and determined you are to teach us English well. Im here to reaffirm you, that you have been one of the best English teachers for me since primary school, in terms of teaching us and character. I have learnt alot from you, from your creative lesson starters, to 4 hours that you willingly spent to go through oral with weikang and I. Your dedication in resources and time has evidently shown how much further you have gone as a teacher. I am here to affirm you that are an amazing teacher so please have some confidence in yourself don't succumb to mere mean comments by others. Your 30 years of teaching will not do you justice then. On the bright side, im sure zhonghua has taught you things and opened to you a different perspective, and gain a class more of students that will miss you. Ill definitely look forward to see you no longer colouring on your phone on the train from Canberra, in future. Farewell Ms soh! (pls bear with my english)

hi ms soh, thank you for all the effort you've put into us and our lessons, as well as for all the resources you've gathered for your students :> I've never had a teacher provide as many resources as you have for us. You shouldn't take mean comments to heart, especially coming from students who don't realize your value. I tend to space out easily, but your repeating helped to drill those lessons into my head. I used to dread English lessons as all the teachers I've had would call on me often for being 'the quiet kid', but I've never felt the same pressure in your lessons. I'm very grateful that I had the chance to be your student, and I won't forget our little chats on the zebra crossing to Nex. Farewell Ms Soh!!
