They wanted cops to stop being brutal to colored people. They protested to get what they want and the police were the barriers. The police are the barriers because they are the bad ones.
Analysis: This even was very significant because it sent a message to the entire country that racism still exists and the worst part is that it's from the government. The impacts were that cops began to feel scared to they stopped being violent to colored people because they were afraid of being exposed. We can still feel the student's impact because some of their friends were killed by the police.
Reflection: I think they can learn that their voice has power and will be heard, they have the power to change things. I think it is important for teens to participate in Political Activism. I think young people can make a huge difference because there are a lot of young people in this world.
