The government response to the actions of the American public only escalated their efforts to end the war. The general public overall wished for the ending of the war and their were pushed for peace. </div>]]></description>

On top of this the U.S sprayed millions of gallons of chemicals throughout Vietnam, polluting rivers, soil, and even causing harm to peoples health. </div>]]></description>
