It made me realize that God is always with us and will always love us no matter what. He is merciful and His love is unconditional. He will always guide us on our journey and protect us from any evil.

   I personally always encounter God's grace by receiving what I prayed and asked for. There are times that He does not give me what I want but He will make me realize eventually that it is for my best. I remember during the first quarter, I was always down because I can not connect with my classmates and I am overwhelmed with school activities. I am a new student, 2 weeks late, and Mathematics makes it harder for me. My mother tried to find a Math tutor but the online tutor she found was not helping. There were a lot of sleepless nights reviewing and I always end up crying. I prayed more and listened to Gospel songs before I sleep and as I woke up. Luckily, my uncle came to visit one day and will stay for 2 weeks with us. He was good at Math and he became my tutor. He helped me understand the lesson and it helped me a lot. 

   Our God is an understanding God that knows my needs even before I ask Him. He always listens to me and gives me the things I want especially when I need them the most. I also want to give God good results of the things that I ask for that is why I work hard, do good things, praise, and thank Him. Not only that but since he incorporated some of his personal life stories into the lecture, I was able to understand more on what he meant.

I feel God's grace everyday, from the moment I open my eyes in the morning to the moment I sleep. Some personal experiences were times where I know that there are submissions that I might past it's due date and I would usually pray for a miracle. God would always answer me by extending the deadline. There are also times where I was stuck on challenges and couldn't find the answer to further progress. I would then take a short nap to clear my mind, after I awoke, when I come back to the challenge I am now able to easily come past it. 

My realization after the Lenten Recollection was that God knows everything, so we do not need to be shy. Ask and you shall receive, He also already knows all the sins that we have committed. I can strengthen my spiritual (immune) system, throughout the lecture he has given us many guides and tips on how we can improve our spiritual system. 

While I know that everything around me and even my existence is a form of God’s grace, I feel his grace the most when I see my family. I am truly grateful that he has given me a kind and supportive family, so that I may grow and so that I may not be alone. I think back to one of the things that Brother Andreus told us, “Expose yourself to the one who you love most.” I realize that I have been exposing myself to God who loves me most through my family that loves me.

What I have taken from this recollection is that God is always there to give us his graces, because he loves us. Even if we sin, he will forgive us so long as we repent for what we have done. God is a merciful and kind father, he provides us with all that we need.

I can strengthen my Spiritual System based on the sharing of Brother Andreus by internalizing all of his advice and lectures and putting those into practice. I believe that God is always there, we just need to strengthen our faith in Him and He'll do the work.

Almost every day, I feel God's grace pouring into me. One of those times is when the start of the pandemic, I became mentally unstable and unable to do my tasks properly but luckily I have my friends who are there to help me. One time they offered to help me and I think that God blessed me with that grace. My friends are one of my go-to people and I think God really blessed me with that because He knows what and who can help me to be better. 

After the recollection, I realized that God is a forgiving Father. Whatever our sins are, He forgives us as long as we are determined to recover and make up for our sins. Even though there are times that we stay away from God, He still loves us and waiting for us to come back to Him. His stories were entertaining and it helps us see and reflect that God is always with us all throughout our journey. I believe that God's love for us is eternal and He will not let us go through difficult paths alone.

I believe that God makes us feel His grace every single day. It's difficult to keep up with all of the activities at school. Just by looking at the list of requirements, I can already feel the exhaustion and frustration to finish all the task on the exact date of their deadlines. But there will always come a day when I can claim that I've made it through and done everything, and that feeling makes me glad and at ease. I've always had days were I don't function well and is mentally unstable. But fortunately, God made me met my friends whom I can always rely on and rant about how my day goes to help ease and clear my mind. My friends became my support system. I am very grateful that He has endowed me with people whom I can depend on and people that make me happy when I am at my lowest.

My realizations after the recollection is that in all circumstances that arrive in our life, God knows what we needed the most and He is there to give the grace to us because He loves us. He is waiting patiently for us to believe in Him and come to Him. We cannot simply wait for the grace that He will bestow; we must thrive and show to Him that we are deserving and that we place our complete trust in Him. Furthermore, if we want to be forgiven for the sins we've committed, we should ask for His forgiveness and repent. We need to show that we are sincerely sorry and that we are willing to learn from our mistakes. Based on the Sharing of Brother Andreus, I can strengthen my Spiritual (immune) system by doing what he taught  us during the recollection. I will strengthen my relationship with God and be good to others as much as I can. I can do this by praying regularly, going to the mass, and helping others. 

I am thankful for all the blessings and graces God gave us. No matter how big or small it is, it helps us very much. I can feel his grace whenever I get through a rough patch and when I receive something good. In those rough patches and obstacles, I won’t be able to go through it without the grace and help he gave me. When I receive something good, I received it because of His help. During the process of doing my best to receive what I got, it was hard and he gave me the strength and courage to continue.

After the recollection, I realized that we are truly lucky to have God as our Father and creator. He is merciful and forgiving to us. He gives us so many blessings. He leads us to the right path for us to be a better version of ourselves. All He wants from us after all the blessings he gave to us is to become a good person. It helped me see the light amidst the darkness. Just listening to the sharing of Brother Andreus enlightened me. Based from what I learned from his talk, I believe that we will be able to strengthen our 'Spiritual Immune system' by always keeping in touch with God and our faith no matter how difficult things get. Whether it be through prayer or through the act of kindness such as sharing what we have or spreading love towards other people, we will be able to strengthen our faith. Those alone will help strengthen our bond with the Lord. Even as we sin, we shall not abandon Him, the Father, for he does not plan to abandon us. 

There is no reason for me not to keep in touch with my faith. God always make sure my family and I receive enough blessings everyday. We have good food on the table, that alone shows God's loving grace towards us. No matter how difficult school may be, he always make sure things will go smoothly. He ensures that we will be able to get through our current predicament. There was also a time where I encountered difficulty dealing with my stress and emotions from letting it bottle up inside me, and so I prayed the night before . When I woke up the morning after, I felt so refreshed and so free overall.

Truly the season of lent and the event of Recollection has given me many realizations to reflect upon. After the things that have happened and the talk brother Andreus hosted, I have come to an epiphany that, no matter how greatly we sin, God's grace will also be greater. There's nothing greater than God's love, not even all the hardships that test us will overpower the plans God has made for us. Communicating with God via prayer will help me understand that the only way to improve my spiritual system is through Him.

I know that I am very lucky to have a loving family and an enjoyable life. I know that the only reason that I have these good things is because of God and I am thankful for that. Even if I have received many blessings, I sometimes fall into temptation but I remember that God has suffered for us so I try my best to resist. He has done a lot for me so I will do my best for Him. There have been highs and lows in my life and I'm thankful that God has given me many highs and got me through the many lows.

I realized that whatever we do, God will always be there. He knows that we are imperfect, so He is also there to correct our mistakes. He forgives and we need to be grateful for that. He is someone who won't leave anyone behind and just the fact that He cares for each and every one of us means that we need to do the same. I feel God's blessing and miracle soaring through my body every time I awoke from my slumber. I feel his presence beside me which gives me motivation and inspiration because that thought that there is someone always beside you is a sign of eternal love. I also feel him guiding me throughout my day and making sure that I'm always in the perfect condition in everywhere I go.

Some of my experiences wherein I feel God's grace is when I think about giving up on the hardships I experience day by day especially in our pandemic situation today where I often feel drained and exhausted because of online class wherein we can't have the physical presence of our friends and teachers. I am less motivated on everything that I do. But whenever I pray, I get more motivated and I feel in the zone always. My friends or family offers me food or bond with them after I talk to God which means for me a sign that god heard my prayers. 

My realization after the recollections is God is always with us and ready to listen whenever we are sad, happy, or even angry. We just need to talk to Him and never lose hope but rather make it stronger. We may encounter a lot of problems but all of these can be solved by a one prayer. When it comes to this, we should not only receive but also give, which is what I do whenever I take the time to pray and reflect to God. If he gives us the opportunity in life and us receiving what we have prayed for, we should still stay humble and thankfully. If we did not, there is always a reason why and there is still enough time for everything. 

My experience wherein I feel God's grace is every time I wake up to live another day, and whenever there is food enough to eat full meals three times a day, or whenever I look up and remind myself I'm fortunate to have a roof up my head. I feel his grace through every simple things because living is a privilege. Life is short so we need to make the best out of it without forgetting God who has always been our side since we were not even born. Through his presence, we are safe and with his grace, we are blessed.

My realization after the Lenten Recollection is I need to reflect more on myself and my actions. When Brother Andreus shared about the laptop incident, I realized that I might be taking the things in my life for granted. Even in hard times, my parents still have enough money to buy the things I need which is the laptop they bought for me for online classes. I realized that I should have been more grateful or saved my own money to buy it but I can say that I'm super contented. I am thankful for people I have in my life, for the food, for the simple things I have been provided. Lastly, I realized I am most especially grateful for God. He is the reason why I keep reflecting and to strive to be better because he keeps leading us for a greater path. The most essential part would be to pray that when we have a real conversation with Him, we feel His greatness and compassion like we've never felt before; we get to know Him better and better understand His intentions for us, which I believe nourishes our spiritual system. I've been going through a burnout phase for quite a while now. There have been many nights when I have wept myself to sleep. My mornings were spent studying, my afternoons were spent studying, and my evenings were spent studying. Some may say I've spent my entire life studying at this point. My mother used to say that I worked more hours than an adult with a corporate job. Most of the time, I felt as if I had lost control of my life. People look up to me, many others demand much from me, and upsetting them is my greatest worry. I was oblivious to how I was feeling. My mother and I have been discussing my everyday activities and how I've been feeling for the past few weeks. We had a conversation that was unlike any other we'd had previously. I kept telling her how weary I was, how I didn't know what I was doing, and how I didn't recognize the person in the mirror. I felt like a stranger to myself. That's when my mother warned me that I was most likely going through a burnout stage. I became irritated and refused to admit that she was correct. I was in disbelief, and I kept pushing myself too hard, trying to improve even more, which eventually led to my destruction. I've depleted every ounce of energy and enthusiasm I once possessed. I was destroying myself, and I still am.

In the times when I felt like giving up, in the times when I just wanted to surrender, in the times I wept, in the times I was in pain, in the times when I just wanted to end everything, I always felt the Lord's grace enveloping me, shielding me, and protecting me from what I fear, myself. When I was at my lowest, I felt His presence, continuously guiding me, caring for me, and leading me towards the path of grace. I may not see it at times, I may not always be aware, I may not always acknowledge it, but I know He is there. 

This recollection reminded me that everything in our lives has a purpose, be it a warning, a lesson, or a test. "God is good, all the time," is a statement that has resonated with me since I was a child. Looking back at the times I've committed countless sins, God never left me and still continues to be forgiving, giving me another chance to change my ways. He never gave up on me; rather, He continued to fight for me, even when I was on my knees, helpless. All I had to do was ask and seek Him out in order to find the light of hope and assurance.

God has a greater plan for us; all we have to do is trust Him and follow His guidance. He will always give us what we need, even if we don't ask for it; He will definitely show us His grace. Furthermore, God bestows favors in a number of different ways.
