ALEX
I used to live in a small village called Żmudź (next to Chełm) in Poland. It was not typical village. People didn't know how fresh air smells like and we had flats there, one restaurant, 3 or 4 shops with clothes, 5 normal shops ,2 schools and a bank. You would find there a cow obviously but it would take a time. As I remember no one had to use a car, there was no point to do that because it took like 20 minutes to get through all village. I always had a fresh vegetables in my house because I got them from neighbours. Everyone had their own garden and a garage 5 minutes from their house. Kids from 5 to 16 had their own tradition. We were meeting outside every evening and we were playing games like a hide and seek. Our parens weren't scared about us because everyone knew each other. The greatest advantage of Żmudź is that you can easily keep in touch with people and you will never feel alone. To be honest I like it better than a life in a big city.

Debrecen is the secod biggest city in Hungary after the capital city. Also the city has a lot of village. I grew up one of them called Dombostanya. It is a real village with animals nice and not as nice old people and with good neighbors. When you are walking on the street you can see people who are riding a horse or a bike or driving a tractor.
There is only a shop which is open from Monday to Saturday, a pub and a kindergarten and we also have a train station. We don`t have school there, so I needed to go to the city to the school. It wasn`t as good because I had to wake up really early and going with car or with train for far away. But I loved it because every morning when I woke up I gave food for our animals and I didn`t care how early is it. In In a village everyone know each other and it`s sometimes good and sometimes isn`t that good because if you are change something for example on you are gonna be the subject for a week. Everyone has a house usually with a big garden because there is living a lot of farmer and they need the space cared for animals and plants. As I said there is only a shop and a pub so we don`t have to much feasibility for free time activities so from this the adults are really love to drink alcohol. They are usually find in the pub. Some of them doesn`t have job or if they got, it is only on the soils. And the life can be really hard for them.
If you are a kid there, your life is perfect leastwise mine was fabulous. I could go with my friends everywhere I wanted without ask my mom because the village is small and safe and you know everyone. I was outside from morning to late night. That`s why I got flaps from my mom sometimes.
In short, I think the life is much, much better in a village than in a city because the city is really noisy for me.

Before I came to Scotland I lived in a small village in Poland, called Ślepowron .It is situated near to Radom. There lives only about 500 to 700 people,so almost everyone know each other,Almost everyone in this village is a Christan and Almost everyone have animal, mostly cats, dogs or horses. We have only two shops, one church, primary school and for recently restaurant and barber. If you live in this village it is better for you to have a car, because to city goes only one bus from monday to friday every hour or two but on saturday, sunday and holiday every three or four and only to 21 or 22 o'clock. As I already said there is only primary school, in Poland we are learning in this school 7 years. So when I finished this school and I started education in new school in the city. It took me about 20 minutes by bus to get to this school,so not that bad. Ślepowron is a beautiful place. There are a lot of beautiful open space, forest, little lakes and the perfect way to riding a bicycle. With my best friend, we have a few favorite places and I can't wait to come back there. At night there is complete silence what I love, only sometimes you can hear dogs and in summer Grasshopper. I'm glad that I spent my childhood there, not in the city. So If you love nature, quiet and you have a car this is village for you.

We clearly struggling to live a good live because there was not schools in my village so we had to travel everyday to other village, So most the children in my village grow up without education and i was't one of them. We didn't get the luxury life like going to the cinemas, cafes, parks etc.. it was so hard to travel to town because my village is 5 hrs far, so it was like once or twice yearly to enjoy a day and go to shopping, resturants, parks and cafes with family.
