After hearing our classmates present, we decided that one of the necessary steps to solving a problem is to identify the specific problem and where it has generated from. Step 2 would be to find relevant data and information about the problem. Step 3 would be to come up with many solutions based on the data and information. For step 4, we would analyze and evaluate all the solutions and choose the best one. Once we have done that we will make sure that solution fits the problem best and accept that is our solution, following through and solving the problem.

For a 4: Clearly and specifically defines problem with explanation. Generates creative and effective ideas that exceed the challenge. Generates ideas to exceed the challenge and ideas address the challenge creatively. Researches data and evidence to support ideas. All ideas connect to the challenge and are pertinent. Makes presentation unique and supported by the text. Thoroughly follows the process and project is done with teamwork/ 4Cs. Reflects clearly on how the solution met/exceeded the challenge.

1. We think that one of the most important steps is to define your problem because if you dont know what your problem is then you cannot solve it. We also saw that it was important to really understand the problem and understand why it happens. We all saw really different presentations but we felt that they all had pretty similar information, just in different formats and different wording.

2. Thoroughly defines and explains the problem with a higher level of thinking. Uses details from the story to support their point. Generates a high volume of clear ideas to go above the challenge. Addresses the challenge and are sufficiently detailed to spark a creative and accurate process.

For a 4 you must:
Clearly define and explain the problem with a high level of thinking and elaboration off of each thought. Each idea relates directly back to the problem and. Each idea addresses the challenge and starts a good discussion within the group because of the multiple outcomes that the idea generates. While coming up with ideas uses each and every step in problem solving and tracks the progress throughout each step. After coming up on ideas reflect on how the idea/s could have changed the outcome of the situation.
