To eat, I would look for fruits, coconuts, and berries on the island. I would also try to catch fish using sticks or make simple traps. For drinking, I would collect rainwater or drink coconut water.

To escape the island, I would try to get help by making a fire and creating smoke. I would also write a big SOS sign on the sand with stones. If possible, I would try to build a raft and leave the island when the weather is calm

The island was small but beautiful. It had tall palm trees, white sand, and clear blue water. Birds were flying everywhere, and the weather was warm.

I ate coconuts, fish, and some fruit that I found on the island. Sometimes I caught fish with my hands near the shore. I drank fresh water that came from rain.

I slept under a big palm tree at first. Later, I made a small shelter from leaves and branches to protect myself from the sun and rain.

At the beginning, I felt very scared and lonely. After some time, I became braver and calmer. I learned how to survive and take care of myself.

I stayed on the island for three months.

One day, I made a fire on the beach, and a ship saw the smoke. The ship stopped and rescued me, and that is how I finally left the island.

“If I were on a deserted island, I would eat fish, fruits, and coconuts. I would build a small shelter and make a fire. During the day, I would look for food and clean water. I would also try to find a way to get help and survive.”

That’s the exact reason why I decided to go on board on a random Tuesday and have the adventure I will remember forever.

Exploring the sea and the ocean, what could be better than that? - I asked myself. Turns out, behind it was a catch.

I got on board and I saw so many people. To me, they were all strangers and vice versa. But then I remembered that I don’t need anyone’s company to learn, have fun and make memories.

I positioned my gaze into the horizon. Turns out, sometimes even nothingness can be beautiful. The fresh air and the breeze, it was just the thing that I was looking for.

I tried to talk to a few people, but it was awkward and after that, I was silent.

Time passed and the sun slowly went down. Watching the sunset from the beach was one thing. But this? This looked like a scenery from Heaven!

It was really late, I could tell by how heavy my eyes felt. All I wanted to do was sleep, but I did not come here to waste my time doing nothing! Instead, I looked at the stars and pointed at it, but then quickly stopped myself. Even though I convinced everyone (including myself) that superstitions were stupid, a tiny part of me still believed that staring/pointing at something in the sky will give you warts.

But I couldn’t stay awake and fell asleep, I don’t know how long I slept, but I do remember how I woke up!

The ship was sinking! It felt like I was 3 seconds away from having a heart attack out of fear. Luckily, I swam away but after I landed on the Island, I don’t remember what happened.

The next day, I woke up. I opened my eyes and tried to understand where I was. There were a lot of trees and plants. I have to admit, it was quite beautiful! I got up, walked around and analyzed the place. I felt really hungry, but then I noticed that these trees have fruit. Not just any fruit, but exotic fruit! Dragon fruit, Jackfruit, Papaya - You name it! I decided to try the Jackfruit and it was delicious! That sweet taste will never be forgotten by my taste buds!

After all, I was glad I had a chance to survive until a ship arrived.

I stayed on that Island for 12 days and I started to notice the tiny details. I admired how all the trees and plants were beautiful in their own way, I listened to the relaxing sounds that the sea waves made, I made a crown from multiple flowers. I loved every second of it.

Finally, after 12 days a ship came. I was very grateful that I could return. After this much fear, it was all I wanted.

I won’t lie, I did consider staying here for a day or two, but I decided to return. Why?

I miss sleeping in my own bed!

This shelter would protect me from the strong sun ☀️ during the day and from rain 🌧️ and cold wind 🌬️ at night 🌙. I would also make the shelter strong so animals could not come inside while I am sleeping 🐾🚫.

For food 🍎, I would explore the island slowly and carefully 🚶‍♂️. I would look for fruits, coconuts 🥥, and berries that are safe to eat. I would try to catch fish 🐟 near the shore using sharp sticks or simple traps made from wood 🪵. If I was lucky 🍀, I would also catch crabs 🦀 or find shellfish on the beach. Eating food every day would help me stay strong 💪 and not feel tired.

For water 💧, I would collect rainwater when it rains 🌧️ by using shells, leaves, or empty coconuts 🥥. I would also drink coconut water because it is clean and healthy 😊. Drinking enough water would help me survive on the island 🏝️.

To escape from the island 🚨, I would try to get attention and ask for help. I would make a fire 🔥 and keep it burning so the smoke 🌫️ could be seen from far away by ships 🚢 or planes ✈️. On the beach, I would write a big SOS sign 🆘 using stones 🪨 or pieces of wood 🪵. Every day, I would look at the ocean 🌊 and the sky ☁️ to see if anyone is coming 👁️. If I found enough materials and the weather was good ⛅, I would try to build a raft 🛶 and carefully leave the island to find people and get help 🧭❤️.
